It's bizarre. In every preview I hear the talk is that he will struggle to score as many without Suarez. I'm confident it'll br the opposite, which was the case last season for both of them when the other was missing. I have no doub't he'll be recognized as one of the top strikers in europe in a year if we have a decent CL run.

Says all you need to know about him, doesn't it? Mourinho never fancied him either. He's good, no doubt, but a bit limited. Good signing for Everton though, fee high but with his age it makes sense. This is a rare kind of move though and one I think he deserves credit for. He hasn't just signed for the biggest club or contract available but taken a bit of a step back for the sake of his career to make a move that will see him play regularly under a manager he believes can improve him. Played for Belgium at 16 or something ridiculous like that so was obviously very hyped up. I'm not sure he has developed much at all though, still mostly just relies on his physicality.

Can seems to be a bit of a leader as well. Felt we were lacking that a bit before but looks much better now with Lallana and Lovren as well.
