  1. Torres Insua Benayoun
  2. 5 games - 5 goals. But I guess that's what flat track bullies is all about..
  3. He just can't stop scoring.. Doing really well is Zlatan.
  4. Thought Zlatan did alright last night, certainly not worse than anyone else. Outshone Eto'o by a mile.
  5. Yossi Kuyt Gerrard
  6. Magical assist to Messi's 2-0 as well
  7. Getafe - Barcelona 65' [0 - 1] Z. Ibrahimovic
  8. He really showed off his laziness with that goal, right?
  9. Carra Masch Insua
  10. Johnson Gerrard Reina
  11. Was just about to make a cheeky comment about Boro, glad I didn't. We have the best manager, keeper, midfielder and striker in the league.
  12. When fit, that guy can really turn out to be sensational for us. Can't wait
  13. Had Rafa not been trying to sell Xabi last summer I would have been extremly worried by this. Now I think that Rafa wanted to bring someone different in, regardless of what he says in the papers about wanting to keep Alonso. Xabi is a very unique player and with him on the pitch, basically all the play has to go through him. I am quite optimistic that bringing in someone more offensive and more mobile for that role can make us much less predictable and most importantly, better as a team.
  14. Also, from what I have read Roma fans are absolutely furious at their president for selling. Always a good sign
  15. I have a feeling this signing could turn out to be a lot like when we signed Torres. There are quite a few similarities between the two of them. We are signing both from their boyhood clubs where they have had massive pressure put on themselves, being huge local talents and all. They were both regulars for their national teams, although not really performing at world class level. Hopefully Aquilani will relish a move in the same way as Torres did and live up to his full potential. If he were to do that, we will be celebrating come may, having forgotten who Xabi ever was.
  16. Things are starting to look good. Very impressed by Kelly. Also thought Lucas played well in the first half, think this could be a big season for him. Degen really is terrible though, isn't he?
  17. The one thing that is worrying though is the fact that Agger was out injured. With Skrtel already out for a few weeks, we desperatly need Danny to be fit.
  18. Nah, that's just wrong. I've been following him since he was playing for Malmö back in Sweden and never really seen any sign of either bad attitude of laziness. He might be a bit of a dick off the pitch sometimes, but that's another story.
  19. No. He is extremely professional, something that has been said tons of times by former managers as well as teammates. I understand theh he can give that impression sometimes with his gestures on the pitch but it's all down to him having very high demands for his teammates, as well as for himself.
  20. I think that this will turn out to be a brilliant move by Barca. Zlatan will score lots of goal, perhaps not as many as Eto'o, but still ~20+. The main difference though will be the number of goals he will be creating for Messi, Iniesta, Henry etc. There are few players with the same eye for the game as Zlatan and his passing is genious, the problem at Inter was that the players around him were too bad to capitalize properly from this. Regarding the fee, clubs were always going to have to pay this kind of money to get Ibra. He was Inter's far and away best player as well as the best player in the Serie A for the last couple of seasons. For sure, Inter managed to get a really good deal, probably as good as they could ever have gotten, but I still think they will turn out to be a worse team without Zlatan.
  21. Both AS and Marca are reporting €40m + Eto'o and Hleb for Ibrahimovic. Wonder why the best team in europe would spend that much on a player who's so s***, hey?

I think there has to come in quite a good offer for Rafa to sell him. He doesn't seem very eager to buy a new striker and is probably happy enough with Voronin/N'Gog/Kuyt/Babel as cover for Torres, as long as money is as tight as it seems to be atm.
  23. Not if our people stop by in Madrid on their way to Valencia and Bilbao
  24. Chelsea would be a lot weaker without Terry. Even though Carvalho is probably a better player, they always seem to struggle when Terry is missing. Poor feckers, will end up with Fat Frank as their captain.. A bit interesting that the main focus for both us, the mancs and chelsea this summer has been to try and hold on to our top players instead of signing new ones.
