He’s academy home grown too. Be crazy to sell him this summer, if he wants to stay. especially if we lose kelleher and possibly Trent. Will be light on domestic and home grown lads.

I hear the attraction for multiple things at the parade. I just think much like the season. Keep it simple. Celebrate 20, (and hopefully 7). then before next season starts, hopefully it turns out to be a lot more because city have faced justice.

I think we cash in jota Diaz and Nunez. All worth a fair bit and none are giving what we need. If we add a left back, assume one goes there too. And kelleher. Possibly chiesa. That’s a decent pot. you’d assume 2-3 forwards. Can’t see Bournemouth giving us both a left and a centre back. i think we add one in the middle, depending on how manager sees McConnell, baj, Morton progressing. assuming Trent is gone, we’ll need a right back. But if we go big on a left back, can see us doing ‘good enough’ for right back for next season. point being, I think we see more change than we expecting or a title winning team should.

He didn’t make the list of the top 30 keepers last year… someone found 30 others that were better. I can’t think of one in the last 20 years.

Jota Diaz been really poor. id go gakpo at half time and Nunez at 60. Ali man of the half.

Some crazy talk. he’s a world class player. We keep him if we can. if goes, he’s giving up potential legend status to be just another player. That’s his call. Doesn’t change his impact on our team though. besides, he’s said nothing. He could easily end up staying. Going past 700 appearances and captaining us to titles is a dream he could achieve. Must be tempting.

I reckon goodison would make a great car park, fan area and staging area for buses etc. surely council will help with that. It’s a derelict, condemned building… for our costs, we’ll have cl revenue from new structure and commercial rewards for title. Not to mention adidas next season. You’d think someone would have worked out a commercial share, given they’ll have title winner shirts in their first season with us. I think financially makes sense for us to buy before June 30 I think (financial accounting) and then sell after, given revenue goes straight into our books.
