  1. I think that you called him a fat, smelly, beardy version of Justin Timberlake who couldn't pass for toffee and listens to Coldplay .... allegedly
  2. I would suggest once Gerrard scores in just under 3 hours, then Torres just over 3 hours you will only have to wait another hour until Keane pops one in then Kuyt in about another 2 hours. I suggest we get Benayoun / Riera / Alonso to take turns filling in the gap between 0 and 171 and we are laughing
  3. I don't know you, but probably an Austin Maxi at best for you

Disappointing results recently, but still better than last season. Certainly, not worthy of even considering sacking a manager at this stage, but keep drawing all the games and Rafa is walking a tightrope!

    Draws

It doesn't, it just takes the pressure off others and makes me appreciate how well we have done to stay at the top pretty much without him

    Draws

Draws also have the potential to derail everyone else's challenge. We've had our fair share and now Torres will convert them to wins.
  7. I don't care who should have been marking who - it was an abject tackle by Benayoun to give away a free kick in such a dangerous area. If Skrtel had a bad game, look no further than the cover given him from Carra, he was the weaker link tonight. It was even in chances in the 1st half, but we controlled the game more, more dynamic in the 2nd, but I feel we played much better than against Stoke and forgetting the rivalry, one of the most in form teams in the league. Disappointing, especially after all the late winners at the weekend, but we are still in there, we are stuttering, but we are still fighting.

  10. What all you negative posters do not get is that all of us are universally pissed off about drawing at home to Fulham and West Ham. However, we can take a positive that we have gone top as our chief rivals (at this point!) lost at home. Believe it or not, this is actually a good thing. You are so bloody miserable that you just can't see it and I suspect life is generally like that for you, one long moanfest, where nothing is quite right. Many of us, myself included can remember seasons gone by where we came from nowhere to win the title - losing 3-1? at home to Man City in 81/82? - and were spoilt by success. These are different times and different challenges, but our points total isn't too shabby at the moment and noone ever said you can't win ugly. At times we are poor, sometimes we are great, but one game at a time is an old adage, but a true one and after the last game we went top; yes we did. Smile a bit more and try and support your team.
  11. Team 5 will give Team 2 a spanking. Team 8 appears to have the dominant midfield, but Team 3 will prevail; the misfiring forward line would let them down and Case will blast a couple of freekicks deliberately at Barnes and Gerrard to weaken the midfield, then Fowler and Kuyt mop up!

  17. I've met some stupid people in my life time, but you take the honours for any sort of defence of this. If you can't see what is wrong with acting out his pathetic gesture in full view of the watching public irrespective of what team you or I support, you clearly should be following the instructions of this emoticon to knock some sense back into that head of yours

  19. His kids must hate playing hide n seek with him. I would still happily keep Dirk as one of our stable of strikers next season, whilst no one appears good enough alongside Torres, Crouch and Voronin have hardly set the world alight, and sticking with him he has now bagged a couple of goals. He has bags of energy and has overcome his lowest ebb... ..The only way is up Dirk, well done lad
