  1. Good luck
  2. Please can I have a thread......it's called, 'Why others can put forward good critical analysis of Liverpool and Rafa, but I prefer to shout a lot to show that I am the bestest supporter in the world, but never make any relevant points.'
  3. They deserved the win. The Greek, Reina, Masch and Maxi / Benny in places were ok...... Insua absolutely woeful, Torres very poor as were the rest. The only positive was Aquilani changed the urgency of the game and if Rafa wants to save his job, he now has to get away from the Masch / Lucas axis and give up this ultra defensive attitude. Almost 1st choice defence available now, so let's start thinking like the early part of the season, more attacking wing backs, as we have absolutely nothing to lose now. We have been playing s*** and getting results, but results like this and Portsmouth are just woeful.
  4. Can't he stay to the end of the match?
  5. The only way is up, show some balls lads
  6. Can't be him - Bought for £19million, sold for £16 million. Didn't work out, but shipped out very quickly with minimal loss and known to be plying his trade at Celtic after having been predominantly played out of position more at Tottenham than he was at Liverpool. Comparable mentions in press about shoddy treatment by 'appy 'arry, practically none.
  7. No idea who you mean, as there's only been 1 and he seems to doing rather well

  10. 'Higher, higher' 'Lower, Lower' 'Do you want to change that card?'
  11. About 22 will be fine, but well argued anyway
  12. Pure luck. Rafa is the biggest transfer bungler in football. If a player is world class: Torres, Gerrard, Reina, that is nothing to do with Rafa. They were already known quantities. He just doesn't improve players, they stagnate. He treats others like dogs: Keane, Crouch
  13. Aye, in the good old days we used to win about 10-0 all the time.......... 11-0 Stromsgodset / 10-1 Oulo Palloseura - Mcdermott and Souness hattricks. Jumpers for goalposts, isn't it, mmm? .....
  14. Just reading through this thread and won't regurgitate points made back and forth, but can we just clarify 1 thing.... Jose Mourinho has lost games at home, it is League games where he is unbeaten...... Chelsea I recall lost to Charlton in the League Cup and Inter lost to Panathiniakos in the Champions League. There may be others in there as well, but I keep hearing in the media and occasionally on here of his unbeaten home record. Great League record, no doubt. Secondly, Mourinho is clearly a great manager, but let's not forget that Inter have assembled a very expensive squad in Italy and he inherited a title winning side; Chelsea under Mourinho spent more than everyone combined and Porto have been Champions 13 times in the Champions League era; not exactly minnows. He hasn't exactly taken a Tottenham, a Parma or a Boavista to great success, he has had money and / or taken over a currently powerful club. Winning the Champions League with Porto was similar to Benitez for Liverpool, but give him this Liverpool side and there is nothing to suggest that he could overthrow Chelsea or Man Utd, and his style of football has never been flamboyant. Benitez is certainly not winning any new fans at the moment for Liverpool, but I think eric's earlier post highlighted why he hasn't exactly done s**** since he's been here. Yes, this season is poor, but it's not over and if anyone who took over this club with the current financial restraints and won the title, they would deserve a knighthood. Benitez by the end of last season was only bettered by Dalglish for Liverpool in percentage of League matches won (better than Paisley, Shankly), so let's give the fella some credit in a time where finance rules the roost more than ever before.
  15. Liverpool since Houllier has inflated by 3.5%, considerably higher than the 2% predicted
  16. Yep, more infuriating that one was
  17. Can't wait until a s**** performance against Arsenal now, featuring 'Wakey, wakey it's Liverpool, Andre' Arshavin, as I've got my anti-Rafa vitriol all pre-composed, and thankfully, I can ignore those 5 wins, 2 draws and 1 goal conceded....... ...What will I do if we actually get a decent result

  19. Just watched the replay and taken off my red tinted glasses. Soto went for the ball, Fellani went for the man; debatable red for Soto, no question should have been red for Fellani......Bloody disgraceful decision...... Let's hope they play s*** and score the winner for us through a Cahill or Neville o.g.........

  22. Do you have anything positive or constructive to say, ever? ....... You had a nice holiday in Malaga, the Mrs makes a great Spag Bol, Rafa has actually shown some managing credentials?
  23. Very enjoyable thread indeed, as pointed out earlier many becoming more entrenched in their opinions. However, whilst I don't take Gunga D or Earl H's point of view, at least like most they are more or less consistent. Mr Biscan's dismissal of spending at Liverpool and then his high praise for Moyes is truly legendary. I consider myself intelligent enough to take on board most comments, whether I agree with them or not, but you confuse the hell out of me on most threads with contradiction and fantasy. Best advice to you is talk less and listen more and you will have bright future.

  25. The changing of the old guard, with current ownership us and the Mancs will not be Leedsified, but out of the Champions League places and a new world order of Chelsea, Man City, Tottenham and QPR take over
