    Cisse

The kind that are particular about which style of phone box they die in
  3. Practically the only player in our team that can head a ball with power and precision. It has been discussed on here many times, but I think that most can agree that his best position is playing off the main striker where the occasional misplaced flick doesn't cause damage and the occasional magical touch wins games. Against Arsenal Crouch was practically left up on his own again, as Garcia was pinned further back on the right and his mistakes were further back and potentially more dangerous to us. When he got the chance to play just off Crouch, he scored. Keep playing Garcia off the main front man (could be anyone of them at this present time) and more goals will come.

    Suddenly

We'll see how we have coped with the Arsenal and Benfica results and lack of goals when we play Fulham - 2nd best home record vs worst away record. Pick up the 3 pts and move away from 4th or enter the corridor of uncertainty

Old style red ones or new open plan versions?

  7. Let's hope he doesn't eat that small child.... .... Too much protein and saturated fat before such a big game and no doubt followed by a few Marlboro.... and a nice Chianti
  8. Chelsea will lose again tonight. Arsenal will sneak it...... Rangers will lose. We will suddenly find our scoring boots thanks to an early goal from Gerrard. Nervousness, as it reaches 60 minutes with no further goals. Cisse comes on for Morientes and scores in the 70th minute and despite the tension, Alonso pops a 3rd in the 87th minute. Game over. If I had money on - the Barca win would be my top choice

  19. Crouch Kewell Gerrard
  20. Morientes is still providing some nice touches, but can't score and has been given every opportunity recently to prove his worth. I think he will find himself benched for the next 2 matches. Fowler is getting fitter, but he is not worthy of being the 1st choice forward at the moment; looked knackered last night. Kewell, Garcia, Gerrard could play off Crouch, but with the Sissoko injury and the overall poor team display last night, I think Cisse might just get a run of games to start in now. Cisse may be in last chance saloon, but as no goals are coming from the forwards, this is his big chance, and I think Rafa will start him against Man City and Charlton and hopefully Cisse will repay this with a couple of goals.......... I don't give a crap whether he blasts them or they are tap ins, he is going to have to, and will, score again soon and I just feel that as these 2 games are at home, we will see improvement, awareness and goals. Believe, please believe

  25. Hope you not referring to me, I certainly said nothing of Neville being better than Finnan. Finnan had another immense game and is my player of the season thus far, but make up what you want. Neville had an ok game and kept Kewell fairly quiet and was one of the better Man U players, which isn't saying much and Kewell had one of his quieter games. The other 3 midfielders were better and 2 of them Hamann and Sissoko by a long way. I pity some sensitive souls who see that as Kewell baiting, as I am far too pragmatic for that, Kewell has been amongst the better players in recent games, but this wasn't one of his better games, although he wasn't bad, it just shows the great form he has been in recently
