All credit to Spurs. I thought that both defences were superb in the first half, but especially King and Dawson. There was very little to choose between the midfelds though and no real service for the forwards - I mean, after the 1st half, who would you have called as Liverpool's MOM? However, Spurs stayed in 2nd gear in the 2nd half and we always looked comfortable even in spite of the Jenas miss, as their defence stayedl fairly strong, but our midfield started to boss theirs - Gerrard's 2nd half was superb, and Alonso and Sissoko started to impose themselves and Speedy showed glimpses of what we hope to see more of. Kuyt and Bellamy work their nuts off and Kuyt's control and shot for his goal was top notch. Spurs did not deserve anything from this game over the whole match, only at half time, and they were reminiscent of our role in the Merseyside derby. 3-0 indicates a drubbing, and drubbed we most certainly were not in the derby, and neither were Spurs in this game.
