This is it. Its horrible to think it and feels worse to say it, but we have to start looking at him no longer being the first name on the team sheet. Also, the gap between midfield and defence is never right. Half the time we're too deep, with Gerrard sitting on top of the centre-halves forcing Hendo/Allen/Coutinho/Sterling to drop deep to get the ball, negating some of our attacking threat whilst also inviting pressure from the opposition. The rest of the time, when we're in the attacking third, the gap is too big, which leaves us vulnerable to counter attacks with pace. We need to find the right balance and I'm not sure how we do that with the current personnel.
