From what I have seen he is VERY rough, similar to Heskey in link-up play. If we do sign Alves and finally get Gonzalez, I would be eager to have a front man to play clever flick ons and neat one-twos - someone with the football brains AND technique on the same level as his team mates. Is this really Kuyt, I ask you.. (me wants fancy football)

Kuyt has the first touch of my dog, and I for one don't see him better than Cissé - in that department at least. Maybe I'm being picky, but I'd like a player with a bit more flair/skill up front.
