I really hope Rafa only subbed Bellamy because he wants him for this weekend, because if not - I cannot understand Fowler left on in head of him. Worked his ass off all night. Robbie was a statue in comparison.

Rory, good points. I'm a great fan of Garcia, not only because of his technical abilities, but the way he approaches the opposition when -they- have the ball. His reading of the game is excellent, and I would say even one that Makelele would envy. Just go and look at him do pressure the next game. I think he is more useful in just an attacking sense.. but that might just be the defensive midfielder in me talking. Good post, though.

I'd say Pennant Alonso Zenden Garcia Gerrard Kuyt Gerrard and Kuyt being our first defence, and i like the way Garcia and Pennant cover space.
