  1. he did a great job for us... cough cough, Alisson and Salah.....
  2. You've just said it there.... He plays in the Bundesliga
  3. Did you watch the England game last night? If thats what 150 million gets you these days, then th world has truly gone mental
  4. Where is that being mentioned? And aren't the clippers a bit, you know. s***e.
  5. In an ideal world, you'd like rich owners, but not so much where they'll simply buy whoever they want, whenever they want. But who knows what will happen,
  6. Didn't Chelsea sell for more than 4 billion though, so surely we'd be the same, if not more.
  7. Any chance we're in for another midfielder?
  8. Going through a growth spurt? If so, he'll be grand in a year. Happened to Gerrard and van dijk, so he'll be in good company
  9. Our excel sheet auto bumps a player up, the more injuries they get.... Moneyball bitch!!!
  10. Only for that Manc c***, Keane, he'd have been capped properly for Ireland, and his price tag for being a paddy, would never have gone over 30 million..... But now he has that added English tax on top of him. He's a good player, but not a top tier centre mid. Barella is who we need, plus a midfield crusher, someone that kicks people as well as the ball
  11. I still think we'll do it. Not sure how at this point, but I just think we'll scrape it.
  12. I was only 4 to be fair. But good point
  13. I know the levels of money in the game now are in another stratosphere. But in the 80's we regularly broke British records most seasons. Didn't we even do it twice in the one summer when we got John Barnes and Peter Beardsley. I'm not saying it's the same, but we've also benefited from having a bigger cheque book than our rivals.
  14. Barella was the ready made wijnaldum replacement. Excellent in tight spaces, can pick a simple forward pass, chips in with a few goals, and above all else, is fit more often than not.... He's not playing in the world Cup, we should simply offer him huge wages to tempt him over
  15. Until he's given money, there shouldn't be any talk of klopp, and the sack. Just f*** off with that s***
  16. s*** or get off the pot John. Simple as that. Give klopp his money or sell to someone that will
  17. The hard truth is. For genuine title aspirations, the only cebtral midfielder you'd currently keep is thiago, the rest, in a nutshell, are past it. Hendo, Milner, Fabinho are genuinely finished at this level, keita and chamberlain are too injury prone. Thiago is similar, but he's so bloody good when fit, that you'd easily keep him. But we genuinely need two starting central midfielders.
  18. Me to, thought he was brilliant.
  19. Am I the only one that thinks haaland kicked the ball out of alissons hands as well?
  20. He's not making any tackles. Which in turn is giving the opposition too many chances to overload trent. I'm not saying trent is blameless so far this season, but the fact he's getting no protection in front of him is a bigger issue than people want to admit
  21. what was it that Bob Paisley used to say. "The quickest way to go backwards, is to stand still" wise words
  22. watched them earlier, that new left winger/forward looks fantastic. if they play like they did tonight, and we play like we did today, we're getting beat
  23. Fabinho is playing like a man that hasn't slept in 6 months. I know his missus is up the pole, but if he's this s*** now, how crap will he be when he has the nipper. Elliot has played, but we don't have any midfielders controlling games at the moment.
  24. I wouldnt slate either our forwards or defenders until they have a midfield in front and behind them.
