    but surely you see the level of "fume" from Spurs fans though. on thursday, there he is stating as a kid he was an avid Liverpool fan, then on Sunday, he allows his boyhood team take the lead against his current employers, in the biggest match of his managerial career. How could he have agreed, he simply couldnt.....and i for one wouldnt hold that against him either i might add.

    in fairness to Postecoglou, he would have been in an impossible position if that scenario actually played out, especially with the line of questioning he was receiving in his pre match press conference regarding his child hood support for us. could you imagine the s*** he'd take if that happened, and he agreed to let us score to take the lead.......

    Murph, I think you're like me, in that you think 70 million should be buying a world record fee type player. But for whatever reason it is, it doesn't. It buys someone that's just not too s***, above average, but well below balon dor level. I for one baulked at the bellingham price for that same reason. In my eyes, 80-100 million buys you a prime Zidane or Gerrard. But in all honesty it doesn't even come close to that.

    I do worry that our midfield business is done now. As much as I agree with selling both hendo and fabinho. Not replacing them, along with the other guys that have left, would be f***ing mental. But we've been down this road before

    Fabinho has been dogs*** for nearly 2 full seasons nowt, with maybe the odd decent performance here and there. We'd be absolutely bats*** crazy not to cash in on him if possible.

    I know it's not the metric to go on. But gravenberch couldn't get into a mediocre bayern team, and an atrocious Dutch team. So that's a no from me!
