    yes, but no money is coming in for them. So wages will be freed up but no extra money to invest. And if other players dont want to leave we will almost be in the same situation. Clearly need to sell to buy. And sell big to buy big.

    we still have enough time to buy a replacement but our owners are still finalizing the deals for midfielders who will join in the summer of 2026 after Milner and Henderson finally retired.

    So the players can motivate themselves for these kind of matches but cannot be motivated enough for the other matches. Last season almost every match we would perform as required. City games from this season are a perfect example of what is still possible. But only if all the noses are in the right direction. Sadly this hasnt been the case.
