I agree with this. But Kuyt should have played the ball to Garcia instead of going for own glory. Being selfish is a good thing for a striker, but when a team desperately needs a goal, the striker needs to realise that.

See it as you like, but the mancs have been playing better pass and move as us. As much as i hate to say it, but it's true. Some of our players can not play the ball to a teammate when they are under pressure. They just hoof it upfront! We should have taken our chances in the first half, but we had 45 minutes for an equaliser and it didn't happen. I can't understand why Rafa brought Aurelio. He's not made for physical football. At the moment, we lack good wingers who can beat people one to one and cross a decent final ball. We also had bad luck, but it's a fact we are missing to many chances. And our mistakes are immediately punished. Apparently when we make a mistake, we make a big, big mistake. For at least 60 minutes we we're really in control. They were chasing us and as i said, some of our players can't handle that. Game could have gone the other way if the ref would have given a clear penalty in the first half. But he didn't.

If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. Exciting matches to come. Anfield will rock again.

If we keep on playing like this, rotation won't be neccessary any more very soon.

I'm still trying to understand what Zenden's contribution has been so far besides his yellow card? With Zenden, Garcia and Gonzalez our Spaniard Alonso is being very isolated and isnt able to play a pass and move game. They are winning more second balls as well. There are far to many players who lose the ball to easily when they are under pressure.

As it happened on wednesday, the cross was far too easily allowed by our full backs. Add poor defending from Carra, Reina or whoever and teams will profit from it.

Momo doesn't need to work at his long balls at all. There are other players in the team who are responsible for that. Momo is exciting. The player who does all the dirty work and excells in it. Momo is not a player for 50 yards passes. He's one of the best at "dust cleaning" in midfield. He'll get better and better. Cant wait for that, tbh.

This has nothing to do with the effort of Rafa. The players are at fault. The effort they put in the second half was much more compared with the first half. And again we have a keeper who's making mistakes which he didnt do last season. We need Kewell back to bring the balance back in our midfield.

This game remembered me of Rafa's first season where we couldn't be arsed to put the same effort in it as we did at home. Aurelio looks good going forward, but defensively he's not good enough. Carra wasn't fit. Rafa shouldn't have played Sami. Johnson's pace murdered him. Alonso is struggling. Fowler is not up to these games anymore. He can be useful against the much weaker teams. We couldn't control the midfield because they played with five and the second ball was theirs in the first half due to the lack of effort of our midfield (except Momo). A lesson for Rafa and he should be wary of our away form coz next week we''ll be having another difficult away match.

Last night Holland were very dissapointing again. We played without class. Only highlights were Kuyt and Van Persie. The way Kuyt played is typical for him, but he clearly is no winger. Van Basten is getting alot of criticism overhere and quite rightly so. Best striker ever, but as a coach he lost the plot.

After every match at home Kuyt thanked the fans by walking to every corner of the stadium and applauded them, no matter if they lost. He still thanked them. He will do it here as well. I can guarantee you that, unless he gets other instructions.
