I have no interest in Steven Gerrard's private life and I don't give a s*** whether he has personal problems. What does concern me is that he's captain of a Liverpool side that appears to have no team spirit whatsoever and yesterday gave the most spineless display I've seen in years, against the Mancs of all people. He has to take some responsibility for that. Failing as a player this season is one thing - he's one of many whose form is poor - but he's failing spectacularly as a captain too. He looks as though he's back to the moody, 'every one else is s***' Gerrard we remember from a couple of seasons back.

On this season's form he'd hardly be missed.

Yeah, let's put all the blame on Garcia. There were plenty others out there today who did no better than Luis.

It's been a shambolic, shameful performance. Do you honestly see any sign of 'progress being built' in our performances this season? We're regressing, not progressing.

He's been poor. To be fair though, of Rafa's summer signings only Kuyt has looked anything like good value as yet. Bellamy, Pennant, Aurelio and Gonzalez have all looked average at best.

Not a single one of our players shone today. It's natural to look to Stevie G for a bit of inspiration - that's what we've done for the last 3 years after all - but he too is playing well below his best form. It really is f***ing exasperating watching them on days like this.

Yep, our 2nd half performance was f***ing abysmal. Alehouse tactics pay off big time.
