Carroll's best years are still ahead of him. To sell him at 12mill to the team you bought him from at 35mill is ridiculous. He is a good option to have. Signing World class strikers will prove difficult without the lure of Champions League football. Keep him another season.

Good points there. But clearly he doesnt give a damn about this club, and a player lacking desire to play and belief in the club's ambitions will prove harder to motivate when the going gets tough. If there s a second option who desires to play for this club, i think i would choose the second option. Besides i cant come to terms why we really need sahin knowing we have Gerrard Allen and Lucas occupying the midfiled positions with good back-ups in henderson and shelvey. I dont think BR wants him merely as back-up...It may just be as once a great man used to often tell us, that it just to have more possibilities available...

in my opinion we are much stronger than last season. allen, borini and the moroccan kid we just signed adds pace and flair in attack. we still lack depth in some departments but am very much looking forward to the new season, hopefully witnessing liverpool controlling and dominating games once again.
