An upgraded version of Jordan and possibly a younger version of Stevie G. We also need a CD (Papa?) and another pacey striker (Leonardo Damiao?) We will see on September first.

We are still far from fourth with the current squad, suarez included. We need a Miki type of player, box to box, strong pacey who regularly finds the net. We need Skretl replacement (dominant pacey centre-bacK) We need to ship Downing and buy another quality forward. Possibly Lucas cover but perhaps Gerrard or Allen can fill the void if needed.

Main problem is that we are not in the Champions League and this year would be difficult to attract top talent even with money as just happened with that tosser of Mkytharian

That would have made sense if we got him on the cheap, which we didnt and if pepe stays i for one would have prefererd if these 10/11mill were spent in another department, like towards papa for eg.

If we get the right money for Suarez and that is not less than 60mill he can leave. We will unearth the next one as was done after Keegan and more recently after Torres and, Rodgers will still have plenty of quid to conclude his hopefully winning project

Carra / Skretel - Martin supposedly is fresh, rested and motivated to play against his natives. That s why i would opt for martin. Henderson/Allen - in the absence of sturridge i would like to see Gerrard play further forward and support Suarez.. i think that the allen/lucas axis can control the midfiled more and fill the voids left by stevie. With henderson on the pitch, henderson tends to play further up than gerrard and i think we will lose the much needed support suarez needs for this one.

One of the finest players to grace our no 7 jersey and that s saying something. May he remian faithful to this historic jersey for many years to come.
