I wouldn't mind if we sell Phil for a high price if we manage to get in 3 quality players instead. If for the sake of the argument he is replaced by VVD, Rakitic and Aubemayang/Keita we could be better off.

we all know Klopp will touch the iconic Anfield sign on his way to the pitch... For all Ancellotti's carreer medals and is proven in many different countries including the Premier League, my instinct tells me that Klopp would be a perfect fit if allowed to work properly. His energy drive, mentality madness, high pressing direct football is just what Anfield needs at the moment. YNWA!

His last quotes ' Give me the tools i need and i ll do the work' seem to imply that he has no say in the transfer market which means it was not him who spent all that money on the wrong players.... if that's the case he may have a point...and system needs reviewing .....if lovren and co were bought on his whims he must shoulder all the responsibility and should be sacked on the spot.

Except city none of the big touted teams have had convincing displays. Still too early to say anything if ship has turned or not. Would be stupid to sack rodgers now after trusting him with the spending in the summer window.

Benteke will be best signing of this window. He is an all rounder. Great target man but he is pacey and technically gifted as well. Expect lots from him

That s laughable to say the least. I would never expect that from Liverpool Football Club and rightly so. Rodgers deserves another season, purely on last year s showing. This year many factors including bad business in the transfer market, sturridge, gerrard, sterling contract swayed in which resulted in an unsatisfactory result but we still played some brilliant football post January period. FSG made a very bold decision by sacking The King to appoint Rodgers and for me this decision may still prove them right. They need to give this project one more year. United with di maria , mata van persie falco and all thier star studded side, are quite lucky to be above us. If rodgers has the right players at his disposal (which means some good acquisitions this summer) he is more than capable of winning the league.

Balotelli by rodgers own admission was a always a gamble...which he did not win. and it is not granted that playing 442 would suddenly transform balotelli in a goal machine. he often partnered balotelli with lambert and even borini during the course of many matches often at the expense of phil. balotelli proved that he is not able to make the runs rodgers wants and is not prepared to press hard for the team Albeit not aware of the whole scenario the only fault one may attribute to rodgers is that he knew suarez was leaving, probably was aware sanchez was not coming, why leave it so late? which forced him to take the balo gamble? Lets hope he can learn from the mistakes committed.

I think we have played some fantastic football under rodgers. He also showed that he is able to adapt tactics and get the best out of the players at his disposal. he is able to read the game and address our deficiencies during the course of a match. swansea match springs to mind. first half we were awful secondhaldf , we abttered them after a tactical change. i dont think we over achieved last season. yes suarez leaving was a huge loss but oneplayer cannot make that huge difference. sturridge our best forward missed a whole season. gerrard our most influential player was a shadow of himself in his final year. Hejust needs to syre that he will buy the right players this time around. happy to give him another season.

Not really worried about Depay. Will probably end up like salah. His loss! We just need to concentrate in buying the right players who are willing to play for the club. This we cant compete and pulling power bulls***, alonso torres, suarez, hyppia, phil to name a few. There is a whole globe to choose from... Problem is rodgers record does not seem great in the transfer market. Phil and Sturridge are the arguable hits. That s what worries me the most... Nonetheless I think rodgers is very good tactically, has astrong personality, good wiyh media and ha good man management sl=kills with players... Just needs to get it right in the transfer market one more time which is this summer.
