It's a real kick the can down the road decision on Rodgers. They just can't decide on what way to make the call on him. If it was just a season review why would Warner need to be here ? However terminating Rodgers and starting recruiting Klopp makes sense for Warner to be here for some of this .

3 things : no manager worth his salt will take on this job if Rodgers is sacked with the same conditions as he took job, that is not full control over transfers or who he wants in. So Monk or anybody similar who takes the job with the same structure / transfer decision making in place are on a hiding to nothing . If Rafa or Klopp say no Thanks coz of our current structure that will send message out To every serious manager , Liverpool FC are a club to avoid under the current owners. If they want to get somebody new in they better move fast as MUFC are hoovering up all serious talent available this summer.
