    Sounds like he’s needed surgery for a while but we tried to manage it. His injuries are very frustrating, but even if he’s only available for 20-30 matches a season, he’s about as good of a 3rd/4th central defender as we will find. I think we just live with the injuries for the foreseeable future unless Kabak and Davies are both amazing.

    Selling Hoever this season was a mistake, imo. Would be useful to have as an option at either RB or CB right now.

    Play just Mane and Salah in a 2. Keep it simple for the fullbacks, put Hendo back in the midfield when Matip comes back.

    I guess I’m clearly in the minority. I feel relieved, like we made it through the night. We will find form, we just have to hang around.
