  1. What's a "strong" yellow? It's either a yellow or a red, or even, nothing. Del Horno did enough on the pitch to get himself sent off, in the end justice was done.
  2. Been saying for ages that they've gotten away with playing basketball in the box time and time again

Pretty sure a ref blew a foul on Riise doing it once this season. Very rare to see refs blow for them, but some of them do. If there ain't such a rule than the refs during my young days playing football mustn't have known the rules

Thought there's such a rule as kicking in danger? His kick went as high as a kung fu kick, blind sided or not, those are always dangerous and definitely deserved a booking. Would only get sent off for stuff like this if it's intentional, but it certainly wasn't, but it's still reckless and bloody dangerous.
  6. Gudjohnsen, Alonso
  7. Chelsea will set themselves up nicely after the 1st leg because of their secret plan, Operation Stamford Beach The Russians will hoof their way to a lead, Barca should be happy if they get an away goal or two
  8. I think it'd be Garcia playing off Crouch, similar to what we had against Betis away in the group stage

Still contributing no matter how small it might be Still a good squad player even though he's capable of much much much more than that as everyone know Don't think he'll be gone at all, if he's still doing half a job he'll stay.
  10. Crouch is not a playmaker, he just holds up the ball and occasionally comes up with a good flick on either with head or feet, not the type you'd rely on getting a good amount of the ball in the hole, sliding good throughballs and occasionally run at defenders or even score Luis is our best no.10, but he's way too inconsistent to play there consistently We can keep buying good strikers, but at the end of the day the goals won't come if the quality of the service is still as crap as it is now.
  11. Quite clearly we've been struggling to score goals ever since we sold Heskey I still think we lack a quality no.10 playmaker, but that's just me
  12. Your dad's girlfriend? Oh wait, I shouldn't have asked, should I, would take this conversation nowhere I'd be surprised if Mickey is a cheater, because for someone of such high profile, some slappers would've sold stories after stories to the papers and that'd be the end of him. He seems like a family man who would look after his kids, unlike another famous Aussie sportsman who recently separated from his wife And is it just me or is the name James crap? Call his son Gilbert Owen or something... sounds way cooler
  13. Gee I love watching them play, always provides good entertainment when they get beat
  14. First goal was a Chelsea set play, training ground move You can see the corner was gonna be delivered somewhere 12 yards out in front of goal, and if a Chelsea player gets the knock down, it'd go in front of the 6 yard box If you watch the replay of the movement of players prior to the goal, you could see Chelsea players making dummy runs to that 12 yard area while 3 other Chelsea plays sneaked to the 6 yard box If our players didn't get sucked in and followed the zonal instructions, then there should be two men in front of the 6 yard box clearing that knock down Instead, the only two Liverpool players anywhere near the front of the 6 yard box were the two men guarding the two posts Chelsea had 3 players waiting for that knock down, so they were always gonna score. This is the type of goal that should never happen under a zonal marking system, it's not the system's fault, the players just didn't get it right
  15. Now now now, if you're gonna be a gossip, at least back it up with proof
  16. I've said this in the past about Carvalho, he's just a f***ing brawler, he defend by shepherding and blocking and grabbing, if the refs are fair dinkum with him he'd give away a pen every f***ing match and get his ass sent off. But instead he's allowed to get away with blatant cheating, at Porto and now Chelsea
  17. Simple, if Reina didn't stupidly slap Robben, he wouldn't have been given a reason to do an Oscar act
  18. Crouch with either Luis or Stevie playing off him
  19. Thankfully Xabi's a smart lad and he knows who has a better chance of winning trophies, us or Real The lad won't go, he ain't stupid enough to be moved by money and certainly not the homesick type
  20. They're both great Does it really matter who's better? It's like the Gerrard vs Xabi crap that was on here last season
  21. Forgot about that
  22. Robbie score against the Mancs for the second time this season and put up the 5 fingers for the second time, put your house on it

    Morientes

Moro is not made for the scrap of an away game particularly against lower English clubs, who will get stuck in and harrass him. It's not saying he's soft, but he's just not up to that type of football. He is much better for us at Anfield. I still can't believe how people have forgotten the fact that he played very well during our winning streak. And Moro was never a prolific goalscorer to begin with, he's not a 20 goal a season man, was not, and never will be one.

    Morientes

You're only as good as your last match People have forgotten how well he played during our winning streak
  25. From what I've heard, the a*** will be paying more than 5 mil, a lot more, in fact, all performance-based payments of course, so yet, he wouldn't be a ripoff if he doesn't perform
