  2. Beckham would probably wanna go to London anyway, don't discount Chelsea But Rafa should be looking for a genuine byline winger, SWP would be a more realistic target if he wants out from Chelsea
  3. Madrid fans love him, because unlike other "Galacticos", he actually tries his heart out. They love his committment, but some don't necessarily think he's good enough for them Last season he was quite simply crap. He had a good start in his first season with them but then tailed away badly, so badly that the press and their cats got on his back there. This season, even I'd say he's their player of the season, but as someone has already pointed out, he hasn't been that good in since New Year. Nevertheless, that is irrelevant to the topic, the topic is whether we should get Beckham, and I have pointed out my reasons. We ain't here to talk about whether he was good for Madrid or if their fans loved him
  4. I thought Rafa doesn't like his prima donna superstars who makes a fuss about everything? On the field he might do pretty well for us, but Rafa is not the type to allow a bloke to say skip a training session to fly to some part in European for some fashion events or whatever. Which is exactly what Beckham does half the time My feeling is Rafa wouldn't like the bulls*** hype he generates, hence therefore he won't even blink an eyelid at him if he's availble And I so happen to think Beckham's abilities are overrated and those current abilities wouldn't fit in our current side
  5. It's Man Utd, if there's racial abuse on one of their players, they would've been whinging about it 24/7 and make sure everyone and their dogs know about it. They said nothing They're deaf already but surely they ain't going blind, too?
  6. He played well yesterday Robbie's not fit enough yet and nothing else needs to be said about Cisse, so yes
  7. Thought we were bloody great 2nd half, just the finishing (again) ain't there
  8. Traore's on for Kewell Crouchzinho looks like he's totally pissed on the bench, so would I if I played as well as he did and got subbed Xabi meanwhile sits next to the great man while having his head pretty heavily bandaged up
  9. Kromkamp started nervously but has been very good and having a great 2nd half
  10. Probably coz Crouchzinho had a bit of a niggle before the game Luis plays a beautiful ball for Gerrard who misses but is hurt by something While Sven's sitting next to Ricky Parry who even by his standards is wearing an absolutely shocking flashy pink tie
  11. Geez, Crouchzinho's having a good one, deserves a goal
  12. Crouchzinho hits the cross bar! Beautifully taken strike, so unlucky
  13. The pass from Gerrard was quality, Harry's finish even better After that we nearly got another one, the goal seemed to have set us off
  14. Crouchzinho nearly made it two Loved Rafa's reaction for a goal, he almost looked like he was pissed Moro's playing very good, some good link up play, and Stevie's running the show again
  15. Hope we push on and get a second, Citeh are utter s***
  16. Just as I speak, Stevie G plays a beautiful ball to Harry who slots a beautiful finish
  17. Badly need a bit of creativity at the final third, hope Luis comes on some time earlier in the 2nd half
  18. Not surprised, didn't look good at all when it happened. Xabi made it looked less serious than it was when he calmly walked off the ground, the man has balls
  19. A few loose passes from Xabi so far, so unlike him EDIT: Now he's come off for Didi, the head wound perhaps a little too serious for him to continue
  20. We're looking all class in the middle but again, falling down at the final third
  21. Nasty clash of heads with Alonso with Barton and Xabi's head is streaming with blood and coming off for a couple of stitches (Probably)
  22. Moro started well, getting involved early and playing some nice passes
  23. These rubbish links will continue to exist as long as Real Madrid are struggling and Rafa's managing us
  24. What does Michael Carrick have to do to get a go? Oh that's right, move to a "bigger" club
  25. Cisse's playing in a system that is completely foreign to him. Back in Auxerre, he played in a 4-5-1 side who plays on the counter, which suited his game naturally. Now he plays in a possession side that is almost the complete opposite to that which demands more allround play from a striker as oppose to a 4-5-1 where Cisse would just play off the last shoulder and waiting for a throughball or a ball over the top to run at He is not a dud as anyone's trying to make him out to be, if he plays under a GH side, he'd be scoring. His game just happens to be totally unsuitable for a Rafa Benitez side. It's as simple as that We'll sell him and he'll do well wherever he goes EDIT: And I dare say he probably gets better services from the midfield at Auxerre than he does here
