  1. We're getting Zidane outta retirement!
  2. A rough sum in my head says around 30-35 mil net spendings Yes, we're skint and he ain't backed...
  3. That's not good, considering the trash Cisse listens to
  4. Can't be Dudek that we're selling, since if we're thinking about that, Carson would've never been loaned out One of the gems, Kromkamp most likely.
  5. Didn't Bascombe said last week that it's all but done and it'll go through at the end of the week? Oh well, one of the versions he's putting out is probably bound to be true then...

    Momo Sissoko

Absolutely agree, he muffs passes when he's under no pressure and normally when it's only a simple pass. He seems to get too casual with it, hence the errors. It's just him relaxing too much and got careless, has nothing to do with not being able to pass. The skills are certainly there.
  7. He would be a fantastic 4th choice central mid But useless on the left, mind, but he won't play there with the cover we have on the left side nowadays.
  8. That's why I said probably Can see Chelsea dropping points at the start of the season with them being underdone. It's true that we can't allow Chelsea to do the double on us again, those "6 point games" that we seem to lose way too much
  9. There's plenty of improvement in us Would be happy with somewhere near 85 points. More than that and we'll probably win it
  10. Dear God, you thought he has an ugly mug, he has an even uglier set of teeth. He looks like one of them Goblins from Lord of the Rings Maybe Sky would need to put a censor over his face so he won't scare the children. Centre backs would s*** themselves at being in close contact with that mug.
  11. Just my opinion of course, still think he can be suspect defensively, particularly with his positional sense. He had a very good season last season, but don't think unless he has a season similar to that this time around can I fully trust him. He's a good attacking left back who is still dodgey at the back, that's how I see him at least. Whereas I see Aurelio as more of a left side mid, since Kewell probably ain't gonna be fit for lot of the time. Little Jan has played alright for us when he has had the chance, I see him as very adequet backup for Finnan who doesn't often get injured anyway.
  12. Never mind all that, according to most other football fans, we still play crap negative hoofing football. Of course, they knew f*** all about the game to begin with
  13. If we do get the striker, the only thing we might need would be a left back, but at the moment we probably don't have the money and Riise can at times do a servicable job there.
  14. ESPN's always been s***, s*** commentry, s*** sound effects, s*** picture quality. s*** coverage in general Yesterday, one of the commentators' head was so far up Jose's ass it was coming back out from Jose's mouth.
  15. Put in some nice crosses, can still do better though. You could see how f***in' quick he is out there. Was more impressed with Aurelio, our left side's fine now

    Momo Sissoko

His tackling's amazing, it'd look like he's too far away from a particular player and that particular player would sense no danger at all, then all of a sudden Momo and his long legs sneaks up at you and crunches you like a fly He'll seriously, like really seriously, hurt someone with a perfectly legal challenge one day. A f***in' brick s****house he is

    Own up..

Didn't think it was a bad side at all after seeing Chelsea went with two strikers, thought we could possibly get outran in the midfield if Chelsea played that 4-3-3 (4-5-1 whatever), but we ended up battering them in the midfield instead. Was worried about Agger suddenly being given a game against quailty strikers after being out for god knows how long, but that just shows how much I know about the game (f*** all) and how much Rafa knows
  18. We've found Sami's definite replacement a couple of years down the line (By which Sami will still be playing, of course, but possibly a more bit-part role) Defensively very solid, and completely comfortable on the ball with a wonderful passing range. Hope he keeps this up and allows us to rest one of Sami or Carra from time to time. Mind you, he's impressed last season as well when he did get games.
  19. Was watching ESPN, and one of their commentators was having a literal w***fest over "The Great Mourinho", and mentioning how great he is every 30 f***in' seconds and how great Chelsea is because of him. Then he STFU of course when we went in front, and when we won. f***ing yank c****
  20. Cech didn't have as good a season last season for them as he did the season before And Cudicini saved them from conceding more today.
  21. It's amazing that teams still let Riise gets on his left foot, if Jose is such a tactical genius who leaves no stones unturned, surely he would've told his players that as long as you block Riise's left side, he has nothing? They just let him stroll through their midfield, got back onto his left and shoot. The type of s*** you expect from a midtable team. Not to mention someone like Crouchzinho ever getting completely unmarked in the far post It's a bulls*** story, but if they want Riise they'd need to double that 15 mil now
  22. The 2nd goal just shows the Chelsea defence ain't as solid as it was, say, 12 months ago. Even at the end of last season, they were looking a little shaky, more than usual. Particularly suspect when getting ran at by pace And they were a f***ing long ball team out there today. It's always sweet to beat them
  23. 7 - Reina 7 - Finnan 7 - Carra 8 - Agger (Good stuff, young lad) 8 - Riise (Defensively he was alright by his poor standards, but fantastic goal) 7 - Gonzalez 9 - Momomomomo 8 - Zenden (Thought he did very well) 7 - Pennant 8 - Luis 7 - Crouch 7 - Stevie 7 - Xabi 8 - Bellamy (Really had an impact when he came on) 7 - Aurelio (I like how good he looks on the ball)
  24. Thought Crouch did alright, below average, yes, but he still came deep and held up play as he was bought for with good distribution, and helped us retain possession. The goal obviously made his day a hell lot better Overall, the shape of the team looks fantastic, one notable thing is we now have the pace out wide to really threaten teams and we look so much better as a result.
