  1. Hope Speedy has a good game and get more regular starts And please don't say Lulu, it's incredibly gay

    Luis

He's great and should be starting more games for us Would be extremely surprised if he doesn't get a new deal

  4. All celebrities/famous people have turned down signing autographs and have mistreated some fans, the fact is not everyone's gonna get what they want. Shouldn't judge their character because of it All the stories I've heard of Gerrard has him as a pretty sound lad who usually treats the fans well
  5. We still lack pace in the team, Pennant has never been super quick, he's skillful and has a final ball, and even that final ball ain't there from him at the moment Gonzalez is quick, genuinely quick, he gives us a better chance at getting behind defences than Pennant can. At the moment teams are giving Pennant the space and then pressuring him to cough it up or cut inside by applying pressure with men on him, as they know he can't really beat the full back. Aurelio still hasn't shown enough to be playing that regularly, especially at left back he's been f***ing shocking.
  6. His crosses have been really poor, they're floaters and lacking pace and direction. To be fair to him, he was constantly double teamed by Pederson and Lucas Neill yesterday, but his delivery has still been f***ing poor
  7. It doesn't matter where he's playing atm, he's just in really really really s*** form Him and a couple of our key players need a rocket up their asses
  8. Xabi, Garcia and to a lesser extent Bellamy are probably the only ones who can say they had an impact The rest weren't really worth a mention at all
  9. To be fair, while the left side was the start of the move that triggered their goal, Steve Finnan should've been covering the far post man. Rare error from him.
  10. MOCKERS! I hate Ole Soljkaer
  11. Credit to Blackburn, they played so very very well in the 1st half What is costing us is schoolboy defending
  12. I know where I was when Riise hit a shot with his right foot... Amazing, nearly scored with it, too. What's he done with himself

    Agger

    f***in' internationals
  15. I don't think that's the case, Rafa would never tell someone to not track back to save his legs, that's stupid. If he's to tell him to conserve his energy, it would be more likely that he'd tell him to be more intelligent and selective with his attacking runs from deep, which is also another thing Gerrard doesn't do all that well
  16. That would probably explain why England looked like a long ball team, with no ideas, no pace, no flair, and failed to create a single one on one chance with the keeper for their strikers. Beckham was also a master of giving away the ball that World Cup as well, hell, if you give him 50 attempts at trying to hit a long pass to Peter Crouch, one of them's bound to come off If England had a better shape and structure to the team with proper wingers and pace outwide to properly compliment Crouch and also stretch teams to create space for Lampard and Gerrard and Joe Cole, they wouldn't need Beckham to come up with the odd pass to sneak a win against T&T, they would've thumped them 3-4-0, as they should with the attacking talent at their disposal
  17. If it's just sprained, it'll probably just be a week. Ligament strain could be two weeks or so
  18. Rafa needs to beat it into him to do the tracking back and all that s*** that Gerrard used to do 4-5 years ago and things that he used to be renowned for His game's changed closer to Lampard's, which is not what we need, nor England.
  19. Although it's arguably still harder to win it back in their day than now
  20. Which is what most sportsmen do They do something wrong and for their own selfish needs, f*** up, and blame it on depression or some other mental illness The Bulldogs League player down in Aus, Big William Mason that is, was f***ing up and getting himself busted in various nightclub incidents and also various disdemeanours on and off the field a couple of years ago, and blamed it on the fact that he apparently has Attention Deficit Disorder Now he's cleaned up his act and won himself a premiership. I wonder if he'd still claim to have ADHD? These guys who claim to have mental illnesses while being paid up the roof and having no apparent real life problems are an insult to the people with real mental illnesses.
  21. Agger took care of Drogba superbly when he's played him so you can't say he's weak aerially entirely, but there are some games where he shows signs that he struggles It's just him adapting, he'll get better at dealing with the stronger forwards as he gets more experience
  22. Agger did struggle with Ameobi in that game But Sami with Carra has its worries atm as well
  23. Think Sami would be struggling purely on the basis that Agger's playing so well it'd be silly to not play him regularly There are still games where we need Sami's aerial power, I think he has a couple more seasons left in him yet but in a more minor role

I would've thought Drogba would've been, but Ronaldo had a cracking last match and since you're only as good as your last match, he gets the pick
  25. He reads the Spanish ones probably coz it doesn't talk about or involve his current employers, so he wouldn't give a s*** about the knee-jerk and hysteria, whereas he would with Pommy rags
