  1. Yep, we became the best ranked side in Europe, only natural that the wage bill increased. It wasn't as if Rafa didn't have money to spend under the cowboys, but he didn't get a few of his big money signings right and that probably cost him his job Diame would be interestnig, know nothing about how the club would manage the ongoing heart problems but would be worth a shot otherwise And nice to be back from Guantanamo, for now
  2. Fine let's debate this til the cows come home From even earlier than those Long explained my position, you saying "avoid using racial language" or whatever was just me going huh? I obviously don't so I'm well in the clear, I was just talking about "this". I never mentioned anything of a racial nature and long stated that I didn't, so I thought it was just you going off about something irrelevant just to, I dunno, for the heck of it. Coz we've had previous, ya know The only time you explicitly claimed that I used offensive language was the very last post which I didn't even get to respond, the rest of the time it was all ambiguous and strange talk where I was just like why the heck is this bloke taking such an issue over such a small remark? I was like, making a point about people getting pissed at innocuous remarks, and here is this guy getting pissed at my innocuous remark, thus proving my point, and before I know it I was bant Anyway no big deal, it's just the internet, so it's just all fun and games. No offense taken on my part and hope you didn't
  3. Talking about "defining how you interpret whatever" is very different to "Cooldude using offensive language". Besides, I didn't even know whatever that's been going on about crackers or whatever, thought it was just you waffling on about non-sense I long explained myself before those posts about why I made the little remark about "this", and was amused at your over-reaction to the whole thing, and still am Anyway, this really is the last mention, no good keep going on about it
  4. Considering the last post of the conversation was the first time you brought up about me allegedly using abusive language, then I was banned immediately after, I seriously doubt that. Wasn't even given a time to respond Just like people wrongly convicted by the police, I'm sure they tell them for years in the slammers that he has no idea what the heck it's for but it does stuff all. It's like a runaway train Anyway that's my last mention of the matter, at least the right thing was done in the end
  5. Don't think that would've helped at all Here I was having already made another account named "Alan Northrop", ready to plant my flag in this one. It's alright, all great men get persecuted every now and again, like Jesus (Before I start actually doing something that gets my banned, let me clarify that was a joke) I fought the law and the law lost!
  6. You're in the sorta mood where you can start a fight in an empty room atm, considering you just made a pretty over-the-top remark about someone who also harmlessly posted a youtube vid of a Rodgers interview in the other thread. Maybe you should take a step back and chill atm I ain't defining anything, was merely making a little harmless comment about those who do make the interpretations. Have already spelt it out, think you're making a mountain out of a mole hole and making this more complicated than it needed to be
  7. Was harmless sarcasm, no need to take it so seriously. Which is exactly the point of the sarcastic remark, no need to blow a vein over it
  8. Harmless sarcasm, considering you can't use "hope it helps, "no offense", "just saying", "IMO", "IMHO", and other stuff anymore, at least according to some in the other thread. Some of them are as innocuous as this Why am I spelling this out? Now it's even more boring
  9. This (No one's offended with this, right?) Which is why it's best if we get two BOSS wide players
  10. All this overwordedness is getting confusing So basically, you wanna sign boss players rather than stop gaps coz boss players are boss and will be boss for years So that means, sign boss wide players. Which was what I said from the start, when you said we didn't need to So this is basically going in circles when we've been agreeing with each other all along, boss
  11. What a forgiving humanitarian
  12. I would much rather Downing sits on the bench than Carroll Think we're fine upfront if you have Suarez and Carroll, you might want a cheap backup but that's that. We are not fine out wide, not at all, far less than what we have up front It's silly to pencil someone as good as Suarez into a definite wide or front role, he should be used in both areas depending on the situation. If Carroll's injured then just play Suarez upfront. Which still leaves us incredibly rubbish on the flanks This is boring, just going in circles
  13. Going by that logic, then we shouldn't be buying a striker like you suggest. Coz it's essentially buying someone that won't play ahead of Carroll or even Suarez Should be about adding quality to the first XI, so a great wide player or two makes much more sense than a striker, and wages wise would be way more efficient tbh, you are buying someone to start week in week out, not to sit on the pine behind Carroll or having Carroll sit there Whichever angle you try to spin it, it's still the flanks that is the massive priority
  14. One of the reasons he left Chelsea was that he wants to play more in his preferred role behind the front man Plus Joe Cole is slow, Downing doesn't run at blokes much, Bellers can't play every game, it's ridiculous to rely on any of them as your mainstay widemen It's not about replacing but adding quality on top of them, Downing and Bellers are fine as squad players, but the way you're putting it, there's a big chance you're relying on them to play game in game out and that's no good.
  15. Joe Cole? Seriously? Wouldn't be counting our chickens on him. Neither can Downing, and Bellers for a completely different reason Sure, Suarez out wide when Carroll's up front, but there will be games where it'd be better off having Suarez up top, then we look even thinner out wide. Plus Joe Cole prefers playing behind the front man anyway It honestly looks by far the thinnest area of our squad
