I would fancy raiding Spurs for Keane to replace Crouch. I would also fancy Quaresma / or a flair winger to really provide crosses in the final third. And it is about time, we bed Leiva, Insua into the first team. Kompany would be a great addition, but is likely to cost too much.

I think the only way we can win the league this year is if we are dumped out of the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup, and soon. In that way, we will play all the best available players with our eyes only on the next BPL game. That way consistency and fitness stays up.

I am not convinced Babel is a LM at all. And the few times Leto has played, he really does not look like the right player we want to use to challenge for honours. Until we get a decent LW, we should be playing Pennant, Benayoun, or Riise.
