To be fair, Arbeloa has made a choice about returning to Madrid. And we should respect that. And i think Degen will not make it to the First XI. He has too little of pace, ability or effort to succeed at a title challenging team.

FWIW, I actually think Lucas can become our Scholes. He has vision and does not attract man-marking as much as Alonso or Gerrard. He needs to seriously improve his goal scoring though.
