  1. Does anyone know a place in Barcelona, near Las Ramblas, which would show the match?
  2. Any recommendations? Preferrably near oxford street area or kings cross station. Or something. Thanks in advance!
  3. Nevermind, I finally found it in the regulations. Seems UEFA has already decided how it's allocated. http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Regulations/competitions/Regulations/01/79/68/69/1796869_DOWNLOAD.pdf Would have been fun though.
  4. So, I'm wondering - is it all UEFA or do the football associations in each country get a say? For instance, could the FA in England decide that from now on, the top 3 teams in the premier league and the FA cup winner qualify for the CL? Or is it set in stone from UEFA?
  5. What does he mean when he calls him a c***? That he looks like one? That he is one, albeit cleverly (not so in Ferdinands case though) disguised? That's the thing. I think some people say these words to be mean, knowing that dragging ones skin color into the matter is not a nice thing to do. Like I said, still unacceptable. And I may be clouded by the fact that here in Iceland racism is not a problem - if it is, I don't think it is really visual. On the second point I totally disagree with you. Putting someone into hospital is better than calling him names?
  6. I can kinda see where Ant is going though. We are taught that it's bad to drag ones colour into an arguement. Then you want to say something hurtful and that's what you say. It's totally unacceptable of course. Don't think it is always meant in the sense that "you're inferior to me because of your skincolor". John Terry is still a t***. Could well believe he is a racist too. In other news, I hope he gets done. One example which happened here in Iceland. Food for thought. During a u18 match a black player was called "f***ing n****r s***" by someone from the opposing team. He lost it and viciously attacked the perpetrator. Multiple punches in the head and body. Who should get the longer ban?

    I'm with you here. Really?
  8. He isn't though. He's saying if we'd have gotten him for said price and 35k a week it would have been equivalent to getting him for free and paying 55k. That would have been worth the risk. That's what he's saying.
  9. It is. His name isn't even Sigurð. It's Sigurður. Gylfi is a good friend of a friend. That friend said to me last wednesday that his decision would be announced on the fourth. Said that was all he knew, but was fairly certain. Could be bobbins. They are friends though. Not Mjölnirlike intel, I know. But it warms me up. I feel relevant.
  10. I'm curious. Why do you follow those teams? How come you take interest in some team from miles away all of a sudden? Especially interested in Wayne supporting Fylkir. That's random. No, really random.
  11. It seems fairly certain that he's in England today meeting with interested clubs. The rest is more speculative. Should expect news soon at least.
  12. According to reports in Iceland Gylfi is in England today meeting with the clubs who are interested in him. One of Icelands leading football reporters tweeted that there would be news about him tomorrow. Big news. One site says Gylfi wants to meet with all the interested parties and give them the opportunity to pitch their ideas to him before he makes a decision. Another site (there are two websites in Iceland concentrating solely on football and they've both got some sources - small country and all that) then states that according to their sources he's choosing between three clubs - Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham. Their sources say that him joining Liverpool is, as things stand, unlikely but not out of the question. That is all at the moment. I think.

  14. His brother, Kolbeinn, plays for Ajax now. Good player.
