    It's funny, you aimed this one at me before and I haven't said the tactics were wrong once in this thread.

    Our goal came out of nowhere and was a complete worldy, then we admittedly had them on the ropes for the next 10 mins. Other than that they completely bypassed our press until our legs had gone. I didn't say anything about poor tactics so I don't know where you got that from. Sometimes it's up to the players on the pitch to see the situation and sort it out amongst themselves, but we were mostly brainless.

    I don't blame our tactics, I just think theirs were better. Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say "fair enough".

    Seville took the piss out of our press first half, doesn't matter either way.

    I don't think Klopp got anything wrong, but I did think we had real problems the second we saw how the ref was going to officiate the game. He was not going to allow us to play aggressive/pressing football because he was blowing up for fouls against us even when we won the ball, just because one of theirs fell over. Seville were wise to this pretty quickly and exploited it. What could Klopp do outside of junking his entire gameplan? I have no idea!

    Yeah agreed, more crippling to us were the decisions outside of the handballs. It's pretty hard to play an aggressive, pressing game when even if you win the ball over and over the ref blows up because one of theirs fell over.

    To be fair Klopp IS unlucky in finals, although I have no doubt he'll turn that around at LFC. To be honest though all I care about in his record is league titles won, it's all I give a s*** about. Everything else is a bonus, and if anyone is going to get us there it's going to be Klopp. I don't think it's really comparable with nutters advocating the selling of a better than 1-in-2 striker, but whatever.
