I was trying to get across my sense of disappointment on the league campaign. At the start of the season I had high hopes, like most of us, which are all but lost now. I wanted to be challenging for the league, we're not, I'm gutted. I can't see any improvement in our play, or any indication that we can go on a great run, so as far as I'm concerned we will limp into 4th/3rd place which in my head isn't good enough. I didn't comment on the domestic cups as that wasn'twhat I was getting at. Can you honestly tell me that your not disappointed ?

Lets be realistic here, we had an easy group, we were expected to qualify and did so. The latter stages won't be such smooth sailing.

I'm as fanatical as the rest of you and I'll still watch every game and support the team. But the seasons over. Already. We still get 4th but that's it, not good enough for europe either. Most disappointing, disheartening season in ages. Depressed

Just flew back this morning. I was safes as houses as nobody suspected me, clapped at the right times etc. I still feel dirty about it. Couldn't even enjoy the match among their lot. pure bitterness and hate. I was totally cool until having a piss before the game started and a good big chant of murderers set the tone for the whole game, scary as feck. plus I haven't been to anfield since porto 2001 and to see liverpool perform like that when I've never wanted to ram it down the mancs throat more was just sickening. I'll finish up with a wee storey for the pub I was in on sunday evening in town, I was at the bar and there was 3 mancs beside me who had just got their pints and were making a toast to "michael sheilds, 16 years and the fact that they killed their own fans" - charming

Got them for a couple of season ticket holders who aren't going. I know they're ordinary people, not monsters but the fact is that in a heated crowd situation things are a lot different and like or not it's not all friendly rivalry. Still I'm savvy enough to keep schtum and the wife'll be doing the same so we'll be grand.

I'm know I'll not enjoy it and I'll just keep the head down. Stand up when they stand up etc and I'll defo be sitting on my hands. Good plan about the gaelic, I was thinking rugby myself but that's even more out there or maybe even Hurling that'll confuse the feckwits. Cheers

Right, I was concerned and playing it up for the sake of entertainment but now I'm not looking forward to it in the slightest but the tickets are paid for and flights booked so I'm going. Feck them. I'll say nothing to nobody and hope that we trounce them, fate owes me that much as my first game at anfield I had to watch the mancs beat us 3-1.

I'll not be wearing colours and will be keeping it all inside, I've also made it clear that the wife has to make sure not to give the game away. Hopefully I'll be alright and as mentioned above my good old norn iron accent won't give any clues.

Unfortunately I'm afflicted with a Man U supporting wife and she's been on at me for years to take her over to old toilet - I always told her as soon as she got tickets then I would go. Little did I know that they'd be for Manu vs Liverpool and in the stretford end of all places. What's my chances of making it out alive ?, obviously I'll not be declaring my true allegiance but I'll not be pandered to the mancs either. Any of you guys have experience you'd like to share and maybe tips to keep me out of trouble ? Cheers
