yeah, this fits with my understanding - they were permanent signings so in theory neither MSI or Corinthians have a say in the onward transfer. In reality I'd be surprised if MSI doesn't have some say as they have the supposed large sell on clause.

See my post above but I was under the impression that WHU were the owners due to the fact that in England a player cannot be owned by anyone other than a football club. MSI are making their money from the sell on clause and there's no chance of them getting 16m anyway.

Isn't this a moot point anyway ?, MSI are only his agents these days as I think that in English football it's illegal for anyone other than the player's club to own their registration. MSI have agreed a majority sell on clause to recoup more money as they had to relinquish the players registration when they moved to england. Can anyone confirm/deny this ?

I agree totally, although in my head he'd be more of a Momo type player but (dare I say it?) better - certainly more skillful and composed. Whoever said Makelele wasn't a bad shout really.

No way am I saying that, best night of my life (don't tell the wife!!), and if we won number 6 this season I'd be happy to finish 5th again - no bother.

The domestic cups can never quench the desire I have to see Liverpool win the league again. They're nice and it's great to win them but no comparison. We've waited 16 years to take the title home and the first season in years I've allowed myself to dream we crash and burn. gutted. I've been telling myself this for weeks, last night was the straw that broke the camels back. Hence the title of the thread. I just can't see how we can turn this around and go on such a run again this season, fair enough I'm very down in the mouth about this (normally a lot more positive) but I can't see where the turn around is coming from. Here's hoping that I'm prove wrong and end up with egg on my face.

Of course I'm whinging, I fecking annoyed with the shocking level of play I'm seeing out there. I've been patient and continue to support the team and players, I don't see my reactions as knee jerk in the slightest, I'm not calling for anyones head and there's plently of targets out there. How long does it have to go on before we're allowed to mention that the team is week on week putting out embarressing performances?, in a Liverpool forum designed for airing ours views ? 3 months obviously isn't long enough, maybe 6 months ?, a year ?, 2 years ? tell me when to stop......

That's fair enough, if you read my first post it states "I'll still watch every game and support the team." So I don't need you preaching to me on how to do it. I annoyed about how poor our team is currently, with no sign of improvement. I don't see anything wrong with stating that, more to the point I haven't singled out the manager or specific players. There's no knee jerk reaction here, this is coming after 3 months of this mediocrity.

I will not criticise Rafa, I think he's our one great hope but something needs to be done. I think our season is over because we had big players off form at the start, this along with some poor luck (hitting woodwork every week) led to a run of bad results which totally ruined the confidence of the players. Don't think this has ever recovered. How many away games have we watched our team just roll over and lose ?, it's sickening.

Yeah, should maybe have made it a bit clearer but too gutted to care about the domestic cups (at the minute).
