The way I see it is that Rafa has been frustrated by the options available to him in the transfer market but also with the speed which he has been allowed to nail these options down. What he's doing is a classic power move, he knows he's in a great politcal position within the club for obvious reasons - he's arguably the most indispensible man at the club. So in theory the new owners have to bow to his demands for fast and decisive action in the transfer market. If his demands are met, and lets face it it the demands are not unreasonable for the position we're in, then this is a good move for him and the club.
