Couldn't it actually be as simple as Klopp being aware of what he has to spend and choosing to wait for the right player rather than go splash it out on someone he's not as committed to? After all, if he blows 35m on a player and gives them a 7m 5yr contract that's a 70m commitment.... maybe, just maybe, he's keeping his powder dry to bring in the player he thinks is the absolute best in the position he wants to strengthen.. which, for me, is absolutely fair enough.. yes, i realise the impact that could have on the season but i've bemoaned the fact that we haven't given managers the players they want in the past so if we've got a manager thats holding out for a particular player (or players) and is willing to back his management of the current team through the season while waiting for those players to be available then so be it.. god knows what it would be like had he brought in this fictional 70m player i mention and he flopped.... and then didn't have the cash to go buy his 'right' player to replace him.. all of which goes back to the owners i suppose and us not having the funds to properly compete and/or being able to cope with having a flop.. we basically have to get virtually every signing right..

Thompson said VVD is coming to LFC... there's no way an ex-player such as him would say that if it was true.. there would be a backlash that the club wouldn't be arsed wanting to handle.. he's just attention seeking

Other than watching VVD when he's played against us i can't say i've noticed him and thought he was anything amazing so i have no real opinion on him.. if he is as all seem to think he is though then i think - if the injury list stays on the positive side for us for once! - then we have a team capable of challenging here.. we look absolutely amazing going forward.. if we can just shore things up at the back then we'll be f***in' boss and i think we'll be there or thereabouts end of season..

Paul Scholes has become some sort of genius footy player since he stopped playing..... he wasn't even this highly rated when he was playing... good player, yes, but not a great and not worthy of the way he's spoken about as if he was some kind of Xavi/Iniesta ensemble clone...

He struggled with the interview in the beginning because he couldn't understand McDowall so first question went over his head.. even i was lost with the introduction for them because it was so loud pitch side and the echo made it hard to understand what he was saying.. he loved his day though, and that's all that counts! cheers

haha.. i might be able to go on with him at half time they said.. all four people from the new kit advert are being interviewed on the pitch.. but i'll just leave him to it, let him enjoy himself without me crowding his space!

Max has been asked to be the mascot on the final home game of the season...... to say he's excited would be an understatement! He got a few looks off kids at the match yesterday who must have recognised him from the advert as well... he's loving it...
