    It's just staggering that we play our first league game on 36 hours and we've not bought a single player this Summer, new manager or not, unbelievably bad.

    I'd take Gordon over Diaz every day of the week, even if we have to stump up £15m to do so. Gordon's ceiling is higher than Diaz's imo, he's younger, he scores more, creates more and has that extra pace, something we are lacking when Nunez doesn't play.
