  1. Only if it is lined with broken glass.
  2. Clearly I don't get it. Clearly. No other sites exist and there are no other options. What are the facts on crime and the provision of parks and open spaces?
  3. Do you speak for the people who live there? Thought not.
  4. No. Plenty of parks elsewhere and if you suggest otherwise you are middle class.
  5. Yeah f@ck it lets just build more concrete when we have the chance to do some real good. Why not eh.
  6. That's a no brainer - back to the community for local kids and teams to play football. Better than a concrete jungle.
  7. Why doesn't someone start a crowd funding page to raise 10m and the fans buy Melwood? We have well over 10m fans worldwide so it's a quid each essentially!
  8. This.But 6k nzd is a lot of moola.
  9. Benteke, Sturridge and Firmino together... If we ever get there we'll win the league
  10. if sterling started and got injured missing 6 weeks we'd all have said he should have rested him because of hodgson running him into the ground. we had enough quality out there to beat villa, we just decided not to mark properly on set pieces and it cost us.
  11. With Sturridge in attack keep us scoring Keep Sturridge in attack all day With Sturridge in attack keep us scoring and we'll win the championship in May DANIEL STURRIDGE DANIEL STURRIDGE DANIEL STURRIDGE IS THE KING KING KING DANIEL STURRIDGE DANIEL STURRIDGE DANIEL STURRIDGE IS THE KING came to me reading about the silly ingerland fans and their rude chant to the same ditty talking about the IRA (idiots), suddenly thought....'hang on we could use this for something good' Rather than the king could be sing or something, I don't know, that's my best and last effort!
  12. Not all Doom andGloom Roy Hodgson had many nicknames whilst manager of Liverpool, none of them printable. His managerial expertise has, according to ESPN, "been the subject of DVDs" and it would seem that with the England squad, this wise old owl has found his niche after a journeyman career that has spanned sixteen clubs in Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Italy and England. Picking a young side is a failsafe decision for a man earning three million pounds a year (120,000 per game at the current rate) because the pressure that ultimately destroyed his predecessors cannot be applied to him. England fans have experienced so many false dawns, so many golden generations and near misses that Roy Hodgson's promises of mediocrity have come as a breath of fresh air. With a win to game ratio that has never risen above 62% (at Malmo) compared to Capello who managed 67% with England and 69% with Juventus, expectation levels are at a record low. Capello was never taken in by England fans in the same way Hodgson was never accepted by Liverpool supporters. The press craved an Englishman for the job, someone who would allow them access to training sessions and 'understand' the role from an emotional perspective. Despite their clamour for Harry Redknapp being rejected by the FA, the press appear to have given Hodgson an easy ride so far. His formation and tactics against Italy in the 2012 European Championships amounted to an 8-1-1 structure, allowing the Italians and their ageless playmaker, Pirlo the ball in their own half, before surrounding Italy in the final third. Penalties and defeat were the inevitable result. No DVD was forthcoming. But it's not all doom and gloom for England. Hodgson has guided them unbeaten to this year's World Cup and has some hugely talented players to call upon in the likes of Barkley, Stirling and Lallana, who were all classed as stars of the future until they lit up the Premiership this season. To many of the other sides they will be relative unknowns, making them hard to defend against, with Raheem Sterling's pace having the potential to see him have the kind of impact that Michael Owen had back in 1998. Hodgson has had the strength of character to leave Ashley Cole out of the squad entirely in favour of Luke Shaw, with Leighton Baines his first choice at left back. Ricki Lambert will provide another option in the final third and will represent yet another unknown quantity for the opposition. The acid test for England comes right at the start. Losing to Italy on 13th June would mean England would have to beat previous semi-finalists Uruguay or hope that Costa Rica cause an upset. Hodgson has the squad, he has the experience and in Steven Gerrard he has a talismatic captain. Now, with the pressure off, he has the opportunity to restore some much needed pride in the English national team.
  13. Lol OK but u get what I mean...
  14. If lallana and lambert had come off the bench against Chelsea instead of Moses and aspas we'd have won the league. That's the thought process I follow.
  15. Don't make the fall harder. West ham are west ham and city are city
  16. He's angling for a new contract in the press by the sounds. Rightly so - although I think we should wait until the end of the season and reward CL qualification if it happens with improved terms.
  17. Interesting and corresponds with this: How Will The Run In Play Out With Jose Mourinho seemingly obsessed with horses, Brendan Rodgers denying his side are title challengers and the rest of the league coming to terms with Manchester City losing their invincible aura, the title run-in is shaping up to be one of the most exciting battles ever witnessed. Arsenal will need to recover psychologically from their 5-1 humbling at Anfield, whilst Everton, Tottenham and the under-par Manchester United wait in the wings, hoping to pounce on any dropped points. At the time of writing Chelsea face a trip to the Hawthorns, where West Brom, fresh from being schooled by Tony Pulis' Crystal Palace facethe in-form Eden Hazard and the rejuvenated Samuel Eto'o. If Chelsea win and Arsenal drop points against Manchester United at the Emirates, Mourinho willneed more than horse analogies to deny that his side are in the hunt. Without Sergio Aguero, Manchester City failed to scoreagainst Norwich. Fellow League Cup finalists Sunderland will be a harder side to break down, even with home advantage, and with Adam Johnson coming into theform of his life, the script is written for him to cause nightmares for his former side. Liverpool travel to London to take on Fulham, hoping that Darren Bent doesn't repeat the heroics shown against United on the weekend. If Liverpool retain the level shown against Arsenal in the first twenty minutes at Anfield then they should sweep Fulham aside. All too often this season Liverpool have dropped points away from home, however. With the most likely outcome being Chelsea opening up a lead at the top, the next game week on 22nd February sees Chelsea Arsenal City and Liverpool handed home games against Everton, Sunderland, Stoke andSwansea. As you were, then, until the next week. The start of March sees City take a break to contest the League Cup Final with Sunderland. Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool play away to Fulham, Stoke and Southampton. With the exertions of Champions League football weighing heavily on the top three sides and Liverpool facing a potential banana skin against the fantastic Southampton, Tottenham (home to Cardiff) and Everton (home to West Ham) will sense an opportunity. The remainder of March sees a schedule that will ultimately decide the destination of the trophy. United play Liverpool at Old Trafford and Tottenham play Arsenal on the 15th and 16th of March respectively expect red cards and injuries aplenty. Pencilled into the fixture list is a hectic end to the month that sees Chelsea play Arsenal and City travelling across town to play United. Meanwhile Liverpool travel to Cardiff on the 22nd March. When Liverpool plays Tottenham on the 30th March, it could prove to be the decisive fixture in the fight for fourth place, with Everton travelling to Fulham, hoping to gate-crash the party. April sees Liverpool play at home to City (on the 12th) and Chelsea (on the 26th). If Brendan Rodger's team raise their game to the level seen against Arsenal, Liverpool will certainly form a part of the conversation Rodgers constantly refers to. Finally in May Chelsea play Cardiff away and City play West Ham at home. Both Cardiff and West Ham will be fighting for their lives down atthe bottom of the table (assuming they are not already relegated). The final weekend could see the kind of drama that only the best league in the world can produce, where the underdogs turn the tables and upset the bookmakers. The title will ultimately go to the side who have kept their best players fit. Arsenal and Liverpool's failure to add quality players during the January window will rule them out of the race, whilst City's exertions in Europe will take their toll. Chelsea will dispose of Galatasary, but will bow out at the next stage in Europe allowing them a clear run at the domestic trophy. Manchester City will console themselves with their Champions League winners medals and an open top bus parade in front of jealous United fans, whilst Liverpool will cement their Champions League qualification with athird place finish. Prediction: Champions: Chelsea Runners Up: Manchester City Third: Liverpool Fourth: Arsenal Champions League Winners: Manchester City
  18. Doing a great job. The key to CL qualification is beating the mid-table/bottom sides home and away. Spurs next week is a bonus game.
  19. I like the fact this makes us hard to scout because nobody is certain how we'll set ourselves up. I'd like to go back to a back 4 vs palace myself with Lucas suspended.
  20. The 352 might actually suit this game. Which is why we won't use it.
  21. Why has Allen become this great saviour in his absence? Henderson has been fantastic.
  22. Mignolet Toure Henderson
