Hodgson for Chelsea's Achievements

Only if it is lined with broken glass.

Clearly I don't get it. Clearly. No other sites exist and there are no other options. What are the facts on crime and the provision of parks and open spaces?
-
Do you speak for the people who live there? Thought not.
-
No. Plenty of parks elsewhere and if you suggest otherwise you are middle class.
-
Yeah f@ck it lets just build more concrete when we have the chance to do some real good. Why not eh.
-
That's a no brainer - back to the community for local kids and teams to play football. Better than a concrete jungle.
-
Why doesn't someone start a crowd funding page to raise 10m and the fans buy Melwood? We have well over 10m fans worldwide so it's a quid each essentially!
-
Anybody thinking of jacking the match in?

Benteke, Sturridge and Firmino together... If we ever get there we'll win the league
-
if sterling started and got injured missing 6 weeks we'd all have said he should have rested him because of hodgson running him into the ground. we had enough quality out there to beat villa, we just decided not to mark properly on set pieces and it cost us.

Roy F***ing Hodgson - 'Football' Mamanger
Hodgson for Chelsea replied to Flasher's topic in General Football Discussion
Not all Doom andGloom Roy Hodgson had many nicknames whilst manager of Liverpool, none of them printable. His managerial expertise has, according to ESPN, "been the subject of DVDs" and it would seem that with the England squad, this wise old owl has found his niche after a journeyman career that has spanned sixteen clubs in Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Italy and England. Picking a young side is a failsafe decision for a man earning three million pounds a year (120,000 per game at the current rate) because the pressure that ultimately destroyed his predecessors cannot be applied to him. England fans have experienced so many false dawns, so many golden generations and near misses that Roy Hodgson's promises of mediocrity have come as a breath of fresh air. With a win to game ratio that has never risen above 62% (at Malmo) compared to Capello who managed 67% with England and 69% with Juventus, expectation levels are at a record low. Capello was never taken in by England fans in the same way Hodgson was never accepted by Liverpool supporters. The press craved an Englishman for the job, someone who would allow them access to training sessions and 'understand' the role from an emotional perspective. Despite their clamour for Harry Redknapp being rejected by the FA, the press appear to have given Hodgson an easy ride so far. His formation and tactics against Italy in the 2012 European Championships amounted to an 8-1-1 structure, allowing the Italians and their ageless playmaker, Pirlo the ball in their own half, before surrounding Italy in the final third. Penalties and defeat were the inevitable result. No DVD was forthcoming. But it's not all doom and gloom for England. Hodgson has guided them unbeaten to this year's World Cup and has some hugely talented players to call upon in the likes of Barkley, Stirling and Lallana, who were all classed as stars of the future until they lit up the Premiership this season. To many of the other sides they will be relative unknowns, making them hard to defend against, with Raheem Sterling's pace having the potential to see him have the kind of impact that Michael Owen had back in 1998. Hodgson has had the strength of character to leave Ashley Cole out of the squad entirely in favour of Luke Shaw, with Leighton Baines his first choice at left back. Ricki Lambert will provide another option in the final third and will represent yet another unknown quantity for the opposition. The acid test for England comes right at the start. Losing to Italy on 13th June would mean England would have to beat previous semi-finalists Uruguay or hope that Costa Rica cause an upset. Hodgson has the squad, he has the experience and in Steven Gerrard he has a talismatic captain. Now, with the pressure off, he has the opportunity to restore some much needed pride in the English national team. -
Lol OK but u get what I mean...

If lallana and lambert had come off the bench against Chelsea instead of Moses and aspas we'd have won the league. That's the thought process I follow.
