Some people have critisised the team , or players , in the past. And got crucified for it! You know what i mean , Gerrard, Alonso, Garcia, Crouch, Pennant etc, etc, have all been critisised and the posters who dare make a bad comment against a Liverpool player have been duly slagged off! Yet here today some of those holier than thou posters are doing the same thing right now! Lets be honest today was abysmal, there is no excuse for the performance. But every Liverpool supporter can comment and critisise or praise the team/players, and should be able to do so without the self imposed illuminati drowning comments out. Rant over.

I love the man, and i am not knocking his play. But maybe as we changed the captaincy from Sammi to Gerrard, is it not time to consider replacing him as captain? He seems so down these days, and it is definately effecting his play. Maybe a relief of the burden to the likes of Carragher, who would surely encourage and bully the players more than Gerrard is now, is what is called for.

I have to agree.

Not for the first time i sensed a lack of spirit and guts in the team today. I am not knocking Gerrard for his play , but this season as a captain he does not inspire the team. his head is always down.

Cant i dislike players now? I was disspointed when we signed him, and while he has undoubtedly improved, i still dont like him as our striker.! I think we should , and deserve better.

Of course you are right. I just dont like him as an LFC striker!

I know i will get slated, but i am not the only one who thinks he is not good enough for LFC or England. He has no power or pace, he cant head the ball with conviction, and this so called first touch? If he scores 15 or more goals this season i will willingly eat my words. I think Kuyt and Bellamy will be first choice, and he will get limited sub appearances before he is sold off.
