Roy would have been torn apart if he was in charge tonight with this lineup. Some of these players just don't seem to give a f***! I really cant see the harm in giving some of the youth a go. I mean the season is over , we wont go down , lets just try one or two young lads with a bit of heart.

Koncheskey is a total alehouse footballer. And as i said before , this result ,however welcomed, should not evade the fact that Hodgeson should go now.

So happy that our team played a reasonable standard of football , compared to our previous game. A bit sad that some supporters thought it was a great performance. Even more sad that this result gives the manager more borrowed time.

End of an era? Well you could say our last league championship win was the end of an era, and i wouldn't argue much about that. But we have had great nights and days. F.A. cup wins .League cup ,UEFA cup, 2005!. But as a 50 year old fan , brought up on Walton Breck Road , i really feel now this is the end of an era. I have never felt so depressed about our club, never have i seen the future so dim. These Yanks are not going to let go. Not until the club is stripped bare. It wont get any better until it gets worse , and by then it will be to late. But Roy and Konchesky , and every other mediocre replacement will get get my support on the pitch. Why? because this is Liverpool, and it is Liverpool that matters to me.

As far as raising money for new signings, Roy should spend a few weeks looking at the reserves. Theres loads of them in there 20's, most of whom are not up to it for us, but could still raise a couple of mil each. Promote those who have a chance i.e. Pacheco, Kelly. etc Ditch those that dont have a chance, i.e. Brouwer 22 will never make it, Simon 20 , Duran 22 ,El Zhar 23, Nemeth 22 ,Spearing 22, Mendy 20 ,Eccleston 20 ,etc
