  1. sky etc have been highlighting that terry has been getting away with handballing a lot recently. ref's watch that sort of stuff. 0..1 to us, via a penalty as a result of a chelsea player handballing.

    Morientes

You could point them out for me, because I don't remeber too many direct chances he had. And did Robbie score? Did we win then?

    Morientes

He is indeed. Morientes set up the goal, as well as setting up a chance Luis should have scored from. Sinama has been occasionally effective as a substitute. His opinion is w***, but I am sure he is perfectly able to stick up for himself, should he wish to do so.
  4. yeah its his fault. He's s***.

  9. Please don't start that...
  10. I probably would have kept him. He'd be in the team before Cisse, for me.
  11. if anyone hasn't seen it, most of it is on the bbc site God's Press Conference
  12. Le Tissier. Southampton Lost against Notts Forest 3-4. 1995/96
  13. would assume it says something in the last annual report http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/club/report.htm
  14. I guess the expecation would be that Gerrard drops into the middle with Xabi, but it might not be that cut and dried. I am not 100% sure Rafa is that comfortable with Xabi and Gerrard alone against the better teams. I think its also fair to suggest our extra defensive solidity is partially down to Momo. He doesn't give the opposition teams a second's peace. So, what are the options and what way might we go? Play Gerrard and Xabi and drop Momo to the bench - use him when Xabi/Gerrard need a rest? 3 in midfield with Gerrard playing ahead of Momo & Xabi?
  15. Very Very bored
  16. Patronising twot. Leeds won the Champions league did they? Enjoy your little bit of glory today.....winning one off derby games is a buzz. Enjoy it, while we're winning the trophies you can no longer compete for.
  17. was it against Leverkusen last season where Riise placed one really well? Don't remember him trying it apart from that.

    Le Tallec

He's quite obviously an "in the hole" player a la Bergkamp/Cantona etc His early promise suggested he might well become as good as them. At sunderland, and in the few games he played for us last season, he became a sort of makeshift target man, which isn't really his game. He even looked more effective when he played for us at right mid under Houllier. He might still come good. For Robbies sake, Cantona was nearly a sheffield wednesday player at one point because he was a stroppy t***. Players like le Tallec often come of age a little later because their game is based on technique and intelligence.
  19. seemed to have a great game today. and i couldn't be happier for him. A player I will always like, no matter who he plays for.
  20. Did when Mike really ensured they got 4 against us, i think. Game when Sami got sent off.

    Ronaldo

I agree for the most part, but when we played them at their place last season he was very good - caused us lots of problems.
  24. He was everywhere in the 1st half, not sure why he was moved to the right in the 2nd, but his influence declined then. Would have preferred him to stay in the middle as Xabi had a stinker today.
