  1. Not sure Gerrard is the best person to give anyone advice on hairstyles.
  2. He's hardly a one season wonder though as suggested given he's the 2nd highest scorer in the premier league.
  3. He wasn't playing left back. He positioned himself in the centre because he was playing as a left sided centre half.
  4. Sepp Blatter in impromptu audition to be the new crazy frog.
  5. good call that. When fit a defender who can play but also defend.
  6. just check your credit card - presumably they debit it straight away, rather than waiting till the tickets are issued. i got a blank email but they've not taken any money off me, so am assuming i've got nowt.
  7. the pressures off him now you've changed your name. we'll see the player we paid for now.
  8. cryptic comments in match report & this article suggests to me somethings afoot.
  9. She never liked him. Said he was a goalhanger
  10. they'll get it from selling owen.
  11. Went to the game with the missus last night, which i don't usually do. She didn't know who Agger was, but made a number of comments about how well he did. and if my missus said it, it must be right. She also prefers Luis' hair now then when it was longer.
  12. booing is not on. I didn't agree with subbing Robbie because Morientes was appalling last night (until he scored - after that a lot of the flick on's etc seem to work out). I can understand the reasons in doing so though. Rafa has already said he wants Morientes to get a goal for his confidence and that Robbie isn't 100%. I was in the lower Anny Rd last night (never again) and if you were the cockney t** in row 14 who spent 90 minutes slagging off the whole team, particularly morientes, I hope you choked on your overpriced hot dog. I even heard some nutter ask if half time was 30 minutes when he went off to spend all his money on half time puff pastry and watery beer. I despair.

They're not really getting up steam though They've beaten Fulham away, and us at home in the league. Had Alonso stayed on yesterday we would have got at least a point I think. They beat Real Madrid away which was a good result, but to be fair if you were looking to pick a team perfectly set up for Arsenal to be effective against, it would probably be Madrid. Its away in the league they've suffered, and I could see them losing points at Man City Man Utd Portsmouth At the very least. Just as we couldn't make the final push last season and catch Everton (because didn't have the right blend of players) neither will Arsenal this.

    Cisse

He's inconsistent when controlling the ball. Sometimes he can kills it dead, other times it bounces off him. Its luck rather than technique with him. His second touch, the one where he actually has to think about what he is going to do with ball, is woeful.

  22. Be surprised if Arsenal get past Juve - just don't think they have the wit. Having said that I didn't think we would. I'd like to see Lyon win it now.
  23. That sounds almost optimistic!

  25. Worrying on the face of it as the nearest they have come to signing real world class is probably Crespo and Makalele. The rest, particualrly those signed by Mourinho, have just been decentish players for high fees. Having said that, you never know how these things are going to turn out - especially coming to a league like ours which is a bit different.
