I suppose that would depend. Most footballers are selfish beasts and if Rafa does go, and we bring in someone of a comparable stature in the game (who is likely to win them the trophies etc) then I am sure many of them will be content with that.

Remains to be seen and as I said on another thread, I don't think it inevitably means they'll all f*** off. Besides which most are on long contracts and worth a lot of money - we wouldn't have to get rid of a Biscan to try fund an Alonso.

If Rafa does get sacked, which I obviously hoped he won't, I don't see that it will necessarily mean years of pain while the new manager starts from scratch. He'd be leaving an excellent squad which is pretty damn close as it is.

Probably not, but then I am a bit of a selfish c*** like that. I do see what you are saying. I just don't see a mass exodus of the Spanish players if Rafa does go. Maybe there is a similar situation where it has happened - dunno?

Your post from Rawk was quoting someone wildly speculating and "reading between the lines" to come to a conclusion based on nothing but apparently made up nonsense. Parry may well be to blame and may be crap at his job - that wasn't the point.

There are others that he did, such as Mista, that we were linked with. Its not something that usually happens, but its something that the press like to suggest will. Other teams manage to bring in, and keep, players from foreign countries with better climates. They don't all have Rafa as manager. Both
