You can't beat freshly pressed Farrah's and a nice blue blazer with gold buttons. Slip ons complete that outfit wonderfully. Style doesn't date. -

Yes, but it'll be much more embarrassing with a first 11 out & in the final of a competition. Enjoy the day though. That's what its all about. They don't come often for some. -

If Rafa can get us to 2 Cl finals, beating stronger teams along the way, then an outstanding premier league manager should be able to get his team to the odd cup final. -

Can someone offer a precedent for a club owner discussing having offered someone else the managers job, while the manager is still in charge?

He mentions they spoke to Klinsmann on thanksgiving, and the reason for seeking an option was, in part, the fallout from the newcastle PC (or the phone call they apparently had just before which caused Rafa's strop)

It must be affecting Rafa, unless he's some sort of strange Spanish cyborg. If its affecting Rafa, then logic suggests its affecting his ability to perform to the best of his ability. This in turn is going to affect the players and performances. Seems obvious to me.
