  2. As posted above, there is no other club I derive more satisfaction in beating other than this bunch of s****. They are full of snide, low life. The most dillusional bunch I've ever met. They see their rabid hatred of Liverpool as support for their club. As soon as Saturday ends, they remain off our radar until the next derby as we have league championships to chase and a European camapign to undertake - they're hoping that they might end in a single figure position. I'm sure you can find a dvd of their last league win which sums it up really. It is collectors item when they beat us.
  3. Whilst there will be a lot of up-beat WHU fans, I wonder if they are considering the mid to long term effect? They did well based on a strong team spirit with an English captain and English/British core - that was their strength. They had no 'superstars' and seemed a close knit bunch. They are potentially damaging this to become a test ground to help 2 'big name' players acclimatise for 12 months for another club and are losing their captain to do so.
  4. How is it a good deal all round? Collect players and place them out of reach of potential opponents? further skew an unbalanced transfer market? use untraceable dealings that probably break the rules of the game - if not in practice definitely in spirit? Move the triangle of suspicion (Spurs-Chelsea-Portsmouth) into the square of deceit by adding WHU? This is as bad as match fixing to me.
  5. I agree that it is not Diao's fault and I don't blame him. If employers are negligent in overpaying an employee, it is not the employees fault. If Liverpool want rid, they have to make it worth his while.
  6. You weren't watching the Community Shield game closely enough. England's finest, Cap'n JT, took on the 'Huth role'
  7. Wouldn't really have the same resonance if the piece had ended with 'ordinary sex', would it?
  8. Wow, an injured defender and a less than mobile forward.

  12. Having reread what I initially posted, I think there were a number of points I was trying to make; a) Try and get there as near to the start as possible and then get into your seat as quickly as you can. b) Remember what team you support - it might help your enjoyment. Of course people have the right to criticse, but making players scapegoats is small time. We all know Garcia is frustraing but without hime there would have been no Istanbul. c) We as fans have a tradition to up-hold - songs/support/banners/humour. I feel that this is part of the fabric of our club and is at its ver heart. Each generation needs to recognise this to keep it alive. Keep us unique and special and don't resort to the cliched "You're not singing any more" or "Easy, Easy" efforts of others. d) Earn your f***ing season ticket by waiting - I'm having to! - rather than turn up, moan and then say you got 4 through a contact at the club without waiting! When I started to go I remember watching the crowd and listening to the songs as much as the games, and I know things/stadiums/people change, but I had hoped to make our ground special for my kids too.
  13. I agree fully. The away games are more often than not a better laugh and with a lot better atmosphere fans - save Charlton/Wimbledon/Crstyal Palace where these games seem to be flooded with day trippers.
  14. First home game of the season, ok weather, good footballing team to play against, good away support (in numbers and vocal), really up for it. Had a seat in the paddock, mid way between Anfield Road end and half way line. Five past three, seat to the left and in front still empty - about 5 in total - then I sensed people arriving from the left. Tea, pies, crisps, coke, on mobiles chatting away oblivious to the game having started - and these were the adult never mind the kids. They arrived at the seats and then began musical chairs whilst X wanted to sit next to Y etc. At about the moment, Aurelio's free kick was cleared, one of the began with ' f***in' Garcia should have followed that it, he's s****' and thus was set the tone for the remainder of the half with, Garcia, Crouch, Agger and Aurelio either s****, not fit for the shirt or in some cases both. As Gerrard gave away possession, it was 'hard luck Stevie, that's 'cos he's knackered covering for Garcia'. I asked them to shut up a few times but it became difficult. At half time, I talked to one of the the older fellas, who told me they had got season tickets for the first time - knew someone in the ticket office(!) - and if it was going to be this crap they wouldn't have bothered. With about 10 minutes to go, they got up having further abused Bellamy and Zenden and telling all who could hear that Benitez had no idea and we'd be lucky to finish top 4. They were all local guys and embarrassing - with the most supportive thing they were shouting being 'f*** off West Ham', "Who are you?" and "You're not singing anymore". The question is if you sense that our fans at home are becoming just another crowd of bores or have we already got there?

  19. We're not playing with you nasty boys any more, boo hoo! (Can't say I blame them but made me laugh) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/5263586.stm
  20. I think Agger will play - with Sami having played in midweek and the Euro game on Tuesday. I think Alonso will be on th bench, he has appeard to more of the pace than the others, so; Reina Finnan/Kromkamp Carra Agger Riise Pennant Gerrard Sissoko Gonzalez Crouch Bellamy Subs; Kromkamp/Palletta Alonso Aurelio Fowler Dudek
  21. Gravy and Molby tell us all along that they new Parry was doing a good job and have always been fans. In a spate of shenanigans not seen in a long time, Mrs. Morgan appears at the AGM declaring her respect for David Moores and is elected onto the board. Our expected success makes us the new-Chelsea and even more 'celeb' fans appear, 'Sporty' Spice attemps to force herself onto Louis Garcia and in the melee his ruptured left thumb means he misses the entire season. We are so successful that we attract more envious glances from Madrid especially toward Alonso and Rafa and from Chelsea in respect of Gerrard and Rafa. Complacency kicks in and I wake up Sunday to 'Goals on sunday' with Warnock on the sofa telling the masses who he tactically outwitted Rafa!!!
