The fella in charge has his own ideas, good ideas and the fellas on the pitch seem to both understand them and like them. Simple approach simply implemented. Huzzah!
Hope this is ok to post here.
Had planned to bring my lad to the Southampton game (8th March) for his 16th birthday. Just been advised that the tickets I believed I had are no longer available. Appreciate if anyone can help - cheers, Mark.
Unfortunately it’s true. More around a commitment from the club to keep a playing squad that is able to compete at level he believes he deserves to perform at. He is not alone in seeking assurances. Mostly it is b******s but it is a point in contract negotiations at high performing clubs.
That’s not true. I understand he asked to be considered if/when available as well as a commitment to spend on squad strengthening and a lot of talk over image rights as he has spread his wings more into fashion etc. The noise has been all one way, and yes he could end it by signing, but the talks are on going.
The latest I heard (pre Girona) was that this is the hardest of the three to negotiate. Various requests and guarantees sought and a lot of back and forth as you’d expect. Money is not the main driver here. Other two seem close and almost done then something crops up. Clear as mud.
Didn’t Endo play rb for Stuggart at times? It would, hopefully be better than what we had last night. Quansah , not helped by Gomez in any way, looked like a fish out of water.
I read this as:
All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?
In recalling the guy who sat behind me in the Main Stand for a season, it was pronounced:
”f*** off Alonso, put your foot in!”. Every game. T shirt or coat; night or day.
Ah! Salad days.
Whereas Mr. Brad Jones actually dived in the opposite direction to avoid contact. An interesting approach to goalkeeping that, for the main, is still to take root.
