I've just watched the highlights. Alves had a mare.

I've always strongly disliked him but I think this is some point scoring and not an honest interpretation. Marca ?! surely not. He was supposedly saying 'Filha da puta' which can be interpreted as 'daughter of a whore'. I've learned from a portuguese speaker he most likely meant 'son of a b*tch' expressed in a general frustration and not specifically at the female doctor.

A reminder that there were fans who unironically thought Balotelli was a good signing and people involved in his transfer are still at the club. There's plenty of other suckers out there who will rationalise a punt on him.

Why go on like that? He absolutely should have left after that atrocious end to the season. He absolutely should have been sacked for an awful mess of a season. The club apparently have decided against hiring a better manager so we accept it and move on.
