We are s*** at home

It really is now. Barcelona & Madrid are easily the best two teams on the planet but the ease in which they are winning week in week out is embarrassing to the League. The fact that every few players in the Spanish national team don't come from other domestic teams is evident of its lack in quality. Shame really as 4 or 5 years ago it was a good competitive league.

Best midfield when fit is Maxi-Lucas-Gerrard-Downing, then it's a complete toss up who partners Suarez up front. If were going to play a 3 man midfield then i'd go for Gerrard-Lucas-Adam and i'd have Bellamy-Suarez-Kuyt up front.

He's been excellent tonight. I still think Barca could do with another CB but tonight and the games against Madrid in the Super Cup he was much better than his appearances last season at CB. He was never troubled in the CL final so that doesn't count. Abidal has had a mare. Never really rated him. Barca's strength in depth is much better this season than last - its the one thing Madrid had over them (probabaly still do but gap is much less)

we've had two bids for Scott Dann rejected. I can see us offering the same as our last bid towards the end of the window if h hasn't gone elsewhere. Birmingham are f***ed and I doubt they could not turn down £8m for him

I think he'll form a top partnership with Lucas in CM.

Lovren imo will be the best CB in the world in the next few years. He has absolutely every attribute you want in a CB. Hummels is also the dogs b******s too. Players like Dann, Chaill, Shawcross & Jones are nowhere near there quality. I think we'll get downing but it'll take a big offer for Villa to sell. I think we'll throw a ton of money (in fee & wages) for Hazard but i think he'll stay at Lille.

We wouldn't be sacking Holloway we'd be giving him a contract extension. What he's done at Blackpool is simply extraordinary. Not just results but a complete change in style of play. They have been a breath of fresh air, they were the best footballing team in the championship last year on a s*** bloomfield rd pitch and are up their again in the very top league. All with players (Charlie Adam apart) no other Premier League team would be remotely interested in. Just goes to show that a managers ethos/style is more important than the quality of footballer at your disposal.

the best performance i've ever seen Messi is the best in the world without doubt but Xavi & iniesta are the heartbeat of possibly the greatest club team ever.

don't want either rafa or roy as manager. one's had his time and failed, the other simplyisn't good enough
