F*** that's disappointing. At the moment I can't help but feel that his appointment will always represent everything that's gone wrong with the club. Slipped standards, lowered expectations, maintenance of a s***ty status quo. Mediocrity with a soft touch. Worst of all, he's Purslow's man. This is R.H.'s 13th managerial gig in the last 20 years, and I'm not sure if in that time, he's done anything to merit the job he's just been handed. Best of luck to chap though. I'm fickle so will happily jump aboard the bandwagon if things go well, but as someone said, the wheels could come of very easily as given the context he'll have f*** all leeway to make mistakes.
