  1. Bold and sound move by BR there
  2. Shelvey for Sterling please, put Stevie on the right to give Wisdom a bit of backing, drop sahin in next to Allen
  3. I thnk Lawro's full piece deserves posting, the assertions in there are astounding! Everton v Liverpool (13:30 BST) This must be the first time in a very long time where Everton really do fancy themselves against Liverpool. Everton fans can look at their team at the moment and say 'I wouldn't take many Liverpool players in our side', which is always an interesting thing to do when you look at these games. Liverpool fans would take more Everton players at the moment. There are some positives for Reds fans though, mainly thanks to Raheem Sterling. The kid has been fantastic. I thought that by now he might have plateaued a bit but he impresses me more every week. Andre Wisdom, the right-back who will probably end up as a centre-back, is another young player you don't want to hold back now because he has taken to the Premier League so well. One problem for Liverpool with chucking in all these promising youngsters is that they have done well so far, but doing so consistently over the course of the season is completely different. Also, come Sunday, I can imagine there will be quite a few Liverpool players in their first Merseyside derby match. You don't know how they will deal with it. Sometimes with these games, a player can go in not knowing anything about what they will face and they can breeze through it. Other times, and I saw it happen when I was a player, they think 'oh my god it's the derby' and they freeze. You have to be ready because Merseyside derbies can be absolute madness. They don't often resemble a game of football because of the hype beforehand and the pace the game is played at. This one will be no different. Everton have more quality but Liverpool are still difficult to beat, which is why I am thinking this will end up in a draw. Prediction: 1-1
  4. Everton will line up with Howard Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines Neville Osman Anichebe Fellaini Mirralas Jelavic
  5. Pepe Wisdom Skrtel Agger Johnson Allen Gerrard Sahin Suso Suarez Sterling 0-1 (pen, foul on suarez)
  6. Fellaini most likely still out too based on original injury assessment
  7. When is he due back?
  8. Yellow card for Fellaini today rules him out of next Sunday too...
  9. Tiote will be missing for Newcastle - bonus
  10. He also had a go at Wisdom saying he hasn't had a very good day, the lad for an 18 year old looked like he'd been playing there for years and any normal co-commentator would have acknoweldged this
  11. Wrong and Wrong PL TV manage all of the broadcasts that are relayed by other broadcasters around the world. They produce the broadcast and therefore choose from a pool of co-commentators per game. Also, I pay a hefty legal subscription to watch games.
  12. Can everyone register their annoyance with Barry Horne here, very least they should have a neutral co commentator http://www.premierleague.com/content/premierleague/en-gb/contact-us.html
  13. Great win, into the top half (nearly)!
  14. How does Barry Horne get that gig? Surely the PL tv producers could find someone who could actually give some insight and not be as biased, the vast majority watching this game worldwide are liverpool fans - know your audience...
  15. http://www.thefirstrow.eu/ good streams on this site
  16. Gerrad and Johnson should be ok to play regardless of the re-scheduling but maybe it might knock them sideways a bit having to prep for two games in midweek. So maybe there is a temptation to put them on the bench. Might see something like Pepe (if fit) Wisdom Carra Skrtel Agger Allen Henderson Sahin Sterling Suarez Suso
  17. With all this Suarez press and in general any press associated with Liverpool, it always seems the negative gets more 'hits' than the positive, as in more airtime, press coverage written and online. As with everything in the entertainment world, the more publicity you get the better, bad or good. Your brand is getting plastered all over the place. So it begs the question does all of the negative press liverpool get actually maintain our profile, results on the pitch-wise we should be nowhere near where we are in this respect. The general reaction by everyone associated with Liverpool club probably fuels the circus too so keep it up lads...
  18. 8 points off 4th, Don't write it off yet
  19. Defence looked very solid which is a step forward. Again, we dominated the game and but for a bit of luck we would have got the win. Experience of playing this system will teach them to stick with it and not force it. It will come. Anyone who can't see this isn't watching what I am watching. Cole for Suso was strange, thought he was really getting into his stride, Cole really does offer very little right now but would not completely write him off just yet, BR obviously rates him. Sterling had a great last 20 but was quiet before that. Wisdom looks like he'll be there for the next 10 years. Suarez dive will be highlighted and rightly so, hard to defend him not getting pens when he makes a ridiculous attempt like that.
  20. That is staggering, surely some national hack has got to pick this up and go with it. This sounds like something Tomkins would love to put his 'analytical' skills to use on this. Doubt he could run it on the offal tho...
  21. Very Silva like when you look at that compilation
  22. You cannot help but like this guy more and more every day. Managers speak of players working hard and then giving them credit, it is definitely the absolute bare minimum for BR or you'll be on your bike otherwise.

    Norwich

It is amazing how exciting things are after the worst start in whatever lots of years. But it can become infectious. We all remember the last time a club had a group of youngsters come in at the same time and the effect that had... Wisdom Robinson Suso Sterling Yesil Sinclair Added to the slightly older crop of Coates Kelly Allen Henderson Shelvey Borini The future is bright, the future is most definitely red... Oh, Norwich, keep it simple Brendan play the kids...
  24. Should use the goodwill we have at the moment to really go after them as a club for this vile behaviour on this day of all days. They should face some sanction for this, no matter how small the sanction would or could be.
