  1. Our league form needs to take a serious spike over the next 5 weeks for us to be in with a chance. We have played 7 home and 5 away and have to jump 9 places, statistically there are only 2 or 3 teams every season who make a considerable jump but I believe there is every reason to suggest that we are in with a shout. Looking at how many points we are off 4th now does not offer hope as statistically it is more likely for that gap to widen than narrow. The one game at a time mantra gets spouted by managers but improving the points tally over a period is what is crucial or producing spurts/periods where the points return is abnormal within the season as a whole. I don't know if it is on, we are all blinded by loyalty but I think we have more than a decent chance. 2. This is Young boys of Berne, play the kids, we're on a roll in the league, we have the safety net of an away at Udinese and everyone else being a bit crap in this group. League form is key now, if we keep this going, I agree with Carra, 4th is absolutely on.
  3. Simple how we can change it, put a bit of tempo into the game by speeding everything up, restarts, closing down and most importantly passing
  4. Deserve a rollicking for that half, worst in BR's time I think. Flat!
  5. He's off, injury free
  6. hmmmm
  7. As long as a player does not get injured, very little difference between 70 mins and 90 mins. Been watching Suarez a bit, has not been tearing around as he would normally do
  8. Delighted they lost two goals after they took off Gerrard and Johnson, apologies to any englanders here. Glad to see Sterling off, Suarez still on after 71 mins
  9. Can't believe that s**** from Townsend, there is still no bigger club, it's not until you do some travelling of this fair world of ours that you realise this fact and I have!
  10. It's all about fear, a BR threat does not carry the same weight as a threat from ol ginsoak
  11. Two united players first off, ours still on in the hope they still get injured...
  12. Needs to change it, made the right call in the everton game but carra/wisdom are a disaster waiting to happen. Chelsea haven't needed to do anything. Shelvey is needed
  13. Agree, think he needs to be told he has not made it yet. Still think he has it all though
  14. Pepe Wisdom Skrtel Agger Johnson Allen Gerrard Sahin Suso Suarez Sterling
  15. Better side although created little. Suso is a diamond, think we could have something really really special on our books
  16. Coates was badly caught but so was Jones. He's doing well but as soon as Pepe is back fit then he's back in
  17. I didn't mind him too much on Sky but he really is a horrible specimen when he's on Al Jazera, the condescending tone he speaks in when he talks about Liverpool would have you fuming. had a moan pre game about how man united would not not wear Red - chr1st
  18. Andy Gray and Richard Keys were rejoicing telling a badly moustached Ray Houghton on Al Jazera how Huntelaar does not even know who Liverpool FC are, not on his radar. They are the most despicable pair imaginable, they have been given this license to be even more annoying since they were shown up for being a pair of neaderathals.
  19. No, needs to not get booked on Sunday and then take one for the team against Chelsea and miss home to Wigan
  20. We don't have the squad for this one. Got some young uns and found out some others out of the tournament as a whole so write it off and move on to Sunday, win Sunday and it's on!
  21. One link up on this, more should come up closer to kick off http://www.thefirstrow.eu/
  22. Wait until you see Newcastle's winner in their game, shot hits their 9 in a clearly offside position and it deflects passed the WBA keeper, no flag from the linesman of course! I've long held the opinion that the notion of decisions evening themselves out is a complete load of rubbish, there's is no reason probability wise or otherwise to back up this assertion.
  23. Conor McNamara‏@ConorMcNamaraIE Just i/v'd Brendan Rodgers, he didn't slate the officials: "We should've won, but not too disappointed. This is a difficult place to come." Ben Smith‏@BenSmithBBC Rodgers: 'I'm bitterly disappointed ... It's an easy decision. It has been happening to us all season.'
  24. There was only way that game was going at the end of the first half. Stopped them having any real effect aside from free kicks in the second half. We didn't control the game but I think he quickly realised this game couldn't be controlled and changed it, top marks in my book.
  25. Staggering decision but there were plenty of positives to take from that, a draw is a more than decent result being the biggest positive
