Before Dossena kicked a ball, it seemed people went all Voronin on him. He overlapped Riera every time Albert had the ball, giving us options today. He is physical, got quite a bit of pace on him when he sets off and linked well with Albert today. Tell me what made Dossena the worst player on the pitch today?

He simply shouldn't be starting in our team. He is not good enough but Rafa just doesn't see it. I lost patience with Kuyt a long time ago but today was just a total joke. He isn't a master of any trade and thats his problem. He has lost the ability to shoot. I'd love to see a video of his debut appearance to see the diffference to now.

The main problem I had with today was touched on in the opening post. Rafa only seems to make a sub only after about 65 minutes. The game was crying out for the likes of Babel and Yossi at 40 mins! Yossi eventually came on late and beat a few men and nearly did something but he hardly had no time to play with. Crouchy had a hard time last year, as Rafa would give him 5/10 min cameos and trying to do something in such a short space of time is near impossible in a tough game. Taking Keane off and leaving Kuyt on the pitch annoyed me so much. Yes Kuyt can run, we've been over this before but he is not a goal threat! That shot towards the end when he had a go with his left foot was the last straw. It was even more embarrassing than his 1st half effort which nearly hit the photographers in the Anny Road corner. He just cannot shoot. It does feel like a defeat.

There is nothing wrong with Dossena, he did alright today and hasn't done anything wrong since he arrived. I think he'll turn into a great signing.

Lets keep it nice and basic. Dirk Kuyt annoyed me a lot today. I knew the referee was going to be s***. Depressing match. Roll on Crewe.
